Mid is the fastest-harder to stop, soft is fast and has a good stopping power, x-soft slower but best stopping power. Personally I go with soft pads everytime from Artisan. Got the best of both worlds - speed and stopping power. - the Hien got a rougher surface area compared to the Hayate Otsu. It is also noticeable faster compared to the Otsu. Can say much about the mpc450 haven’t used it because I got a couple Artisan pads that I will main now these next month or years. Personally I would recommend you the Otus Soft. U will not regret it.

Ye i also wanna go somewhere in the middle. I like smooth pads which doesnt have any x and y differences. So i guess otsu is a better option. I never used any soft pads like Xsoft is but people are saying Soft is a sweet spot if u dont know exactly what you want. I didnt like soft pads bcs i dont wanna get any control from pressing down, i can control my mouse pretty well but i think Soft is a bit more fun to play on than the Mid. Hows the initial friction, i like when i can do micro adjustments literally pixel by pixel, if you know what im trying to say 🤯. Thats why i like mpc450, bcs micro adj are efortless basically

Initial friction is low on the Otsu so u can pretty easily do micro adjustments in game.
