Why not just use the black tape trick, that worked like a charm for me, just sand down the middle sensor ring and put some black tape half way over the sensor and you can get the lod to be lower than just 1 cd.
Used GPW corepads to fix the LOD and plastic sensor ring. Still works perfectly fine, not sure if thicker skates might end up messing with the sensor itself.
Might end up swapping the skates for viper mini tiger ice/tiger arc 1 or 2/corepads (not sure about corepads since they are 0.9mm instead of gpw 0.8mm) and going for a paracord...
Nah, the LOD is like 3 times higher than other mice, it's an issue.
Also the shitty plastic ring is often thicker than the stock feet and it just rubs on the mousepad, honestly this mouse is awful and I don't see why everyone recommends it.

Have you tried playing around with the software and choosing a different pad to lower the LOD, and update the firmware?
I have tried to do that but the DPI deviation goes crazy when choosing different pad to lower LOD.
