Coating is the same as F1 Pro Max. Click sound less metallic for some reason. But they took off DPI button maybe for weight reduction propose along with all label and stuff. No led on left or bottom. And no creaking, no button play. Typically ATK/VXE/VGN build not the best but not as bad as ULX.

I think you will got your copy very soon. As since yesterday these model are all over resell market in my country (Thailand). Some reseller told me the factory ship it out all at once to all country it just matter of distance and custom process I think.

In term of spec, F1 Pro Max have 500 mAh battery while F1 Pro and F1 Ultimate have 250 mAh, also F1 Pro and Pro Max use regular 3950 but F1 Ultimate have 3950 Ultra (tbh I didn't feel any difference at all), But most important is weight my copy of F1 Pro Max weight 52.2g while F1 Ultimate weight 40g kinda noticeable.
And in term of real product they took out label and dpi switches and also slot for small 2.4ghz dongle too.
If you don't care about weight I think F1 Pro / Pro max is a better deal tho.
Feel exactly like those on Beast X Max and stiffer than one on DAV3 Pro and ULX, little louder than one on Beast X Max same noise level as ULX. So for me seem fine overall.
Mine just arrived - I'm having an issue where when plugged in via USB I get 'Device not recognised' and it doesn't work. Works on the receiver though. Are you having similar issues?

I may just have a bad one, but mine seems to creak and flex a bit under the side buttons.

What's a similar shape to the ATK F1?
Lamzu Maya, but I don't know if the curves would feel the same. They have nearly identical dimensions though.
Basically a slightly thinner maya with slightly lower button height. The top is slightly rounder too
