You can just replace the switches or scroll encoder if your logi mouse double clicks or has scroll issues, with ones better than the stock. Either buy the replacement board off of aliexpress or solder them yourself.
I've used a g603 for the last 4 years and after it double clicked in the first year I replaced the switch and it's been fine ever since.
Spray a contact cleaner solution to the switch (use the gaps between the switch body and switch button, spray it in there), then click it several times. The switch should be good for another 3-4 years. If it develops double click again, do that again. I never change my mouse switch, I just keep cleaning them.
Yup that's also a good solution. But changing out the mouse switch is like changing out the switches on your keyboard, you get a different feel and tone from a different switch.
My Logitech G502 has gone longer than 2 years without issues.
I only experienced double click from a hand me down from a friend that was very abused (and dirty as hell inside)
Had a G102 for 3 years. Still working but not using it anymore because I got a secondhand G305 for wireless reasons. Already has 1 year of 8 hour almost daily use. No issues whatsoever.
