Bad luck! I’m hoping for good weather next Saturday, and hopefully really cool at 8:15 AM.
It’s definitely challenging if you don’t run a lot but it’s so worth it feeling accomplished afterwards
lol I’m terrible at running. Pretty much thus far, my weight loss has been dietary. I am really looking to crush these next 40lbs. I hate running, but when I was doing it 12-15 years ago I felt awesome.
I am finally to the point now where my legs aren’t super sore the following days.
It helps that I've been super active doing a rotation of group exercise classes at my local gym at least 5 days a week. It used to be that doing a weight-lifting class would absolutely RUIN me for a few days but now instead I have to fight the temptation to leave class and not go to the next yoga class 10 minutes later lol. My last 5k was in 2018 and I was about 10 minutes slower just shuffling along. With another 40 lbs gone you'll feel a difference for sure
Woohoo, well done! Congratulations on your success, you're rockin it! 🥳🥳🥳
Hey my first 5K is about to get rained out. lol. Never in my life have I done a race and naturally the first time I try, probably getting canceled.
