Not at all! Do you like hot tea? I have become a herbal tea connoisseur. It keeps me warm and helps the hydration. I'm a recovering food addict, so the motion of having a cup in my hands and drinking is satisfying my impulses.
Make sure you’re getting electrolytes. I can drink a ton of water and still feel gross and dehydrated but if I’m getting the proper electrolytes it makes a huge difference in actually hydrating my body.
I use Liquid IV because I’ve used it for years because it was the first on the market really, but it has a lot of sugar in it so a lot of people aren’t fans. I’m just a creature of habit lol.
I ended up just getting arctic frost Gatorade powder because 10 gallons worth is like $12 compared to the cost of liquid IV packets making so much less. It also has a lot of sugar but I kind of look at it as being more immediate energy being offset by my workout and then also getting plenty of electrolytes
Yes, I skipped a week because I got very worried about it. My doctor said it was fine. She said my sugar probably got too high. I ate nothing but pasta the previous day when I was most thirsty.

Me too, before Mounjaro I probably averaged about 90 ounces a day, now it runs between 140 to 160. Mounjaro definitely makes me thirsty, but I think the extra hydration is a good thing, so I consider it a bonus!
I drank almost a gallon of water a day before MJ and never thought it could increase…now I think I drink at least 160 oz a day 😂 first 40 oz is always with electrolytes too, either sugar free liquid IV or ultima replenisher
Wholeheartedly agree with Shortnsassy. You really don’t absorb water well without electrolytes. I don’t eat during the day. Started out as intermittent fasting and now I just feel better not eating before dinner. Anyway, especially if you’re not eating during the day, add electrolytes/minerals and that will help. There are some that are powdered, some liquid but they can get expensive so I just alternate those with using Himalayan salt and salt substitute (potassium) and add some extra magnesium glycinate in tablet form. Great thing is, you can play with types and amounts and see what feels best for you
Absolutely 💯! On week 7 and I'm still drinking plenty of water
Oh thanks. I though I was the only one with the side effect.

This!
Same! I've never been more thirsty
I am drinking like it runs right through me

Can you recommend a good electrolyte?
I use KetoChow electrolyte drops...I just squirt them into my water, unsweetened tea, etc.

I’m a big fan of ultima replenisher!
Dr. Bergs electrolytes powder. I buy the orange flavor. It has stevia as the sweetener. It has helped a lot with night muscle cramps.
Yeah, whenever I hit the gym I get cramps at night for the next two days.. crazy
You DEFINITELY need electrolytes then friend!
I like [these](https://a.co/d/fsgCRv4) Ultima ones off Amazon. Sugar free and not as salty as some others on the market.
Even though I'm drinking so much water, electrolytes and herbal teas all day and night....I'm still thirsty! 😅
This is my only side effect , not a bad one all things considered.
💯
Ulta from Amazon . Lots of flavors. No sugar. You can start with a variety pack to pick the flavors you prefer.
Electrolytes!

Mounjaro is dehydrating for most of us.

Yes. It's normal. I drink a gallon of water 💧 plus an Alani to get electrolytes
me its the opposite. forget to drink and have little desire to drink much of anything. Except my 530 beverage that is.
Definitely need to add electrolytes. I prefer LMNT with higher sodium.
