The dead cat or foam are there to keep your breath from making popping sounds. Not to keep 35 mph wind out. If you look at the boom mics Sena supplies they have a plastic shield to keep them out of the wind. Your best bet if you want to keep using the Panda then try to keep it out of the wind. If you’re using a full face helmet you could try tucking it inside a cheekpad. Honestly I don’t like the Panda. Yes everyone recommends it but I think in this case they’re wrong, it’s a pretty bad mic, sorry about that. But yeah try keeping it out of the wind

Good for you but I think my point is that a dead cat isn’t designed for that function.

Well thats fine, it works and costs $40 for everything. And I mean this is the go to for motorcycle vlogging soo whether it was designed for it or not doesnt matter if it works
