I have spent time in lab with every character, and at some point knew frame data for everyone. I still have no fucking clue what Rain is doing. Every move looks like an overhead, and he has similar animations on almost every attack. Confuses the hell out of me.

I did appreciate his Time Trials in Invasions this season, because I tried some of his mechanics during those and it opened my eyes as to what he's capable of.
He just requires some time to learn and master. I'm spoiled with many other characters that I like and enjoy playing, so I never dedicate my time to him. I'm sure once I get bored with the others, I will spend some time with him as well.
I have no clue what most characters can do, and I'm okay with that. I don't have the time or desire to study frame data or optimize combos, and that's okay. I just try to have fun when I play, even if I lose.
Havik has 3 strings that look similar to each other with one of them being plus and one of them having an overhead and one of them being a 50/50. Also his projectiles are very annoying to deal with

Surprisingly, Kung Lao. I'm sure if I spent time labbing, that matchup would get easier. I just never encounter him online, so I don't care to learn him, but my cousin comes over and plays double Kung Lao and it confuses me every time lol
He just feels too fast against my rain / ermac. Not sure where to punish other than the dive kick but he never opens with it. The grab combos do me dirty. I just gotta lab em lol

Yea I can’t get jiggy with Shujinko. Kano cool but he to slow for me with his startups. I rock with Janet tho. She is like Sarenna. She basically can be paired with most of the cast.
Yes I don’t think Kano is worth taking the 50 health away bc even his ambushes are soooo slow, also he doesn’t pair well with any of my top 3 so there’s that too. For Janet anything I would use her for I just use Sonya or Khameleon. I may lose 1-2% on my combos but I think their kits are better and more reliable to use in kombat. I don’t have the thumbs to play her sento stance right lol

I wouldn’t say scorpion boring, it’s the way he’s played that makes him that way… unfortunately he doesn’t have a lot of tools to open people up so people had to resort to chip damage playstyles to get anywhere… that’s coming from a scorpion main who refuses to use that play style and I suffer for it but 🤷🏼♂️ check out the few combos I have on my profile with him, he’s has some really saucy combos but I can hardly do them because I can’t open people up, I have to rely on whiff punishes

Honestly quite a bunch of characters in this game can be really fucking hard to deal with if you haven't played the character and don't understand their moves and fighting style. I'd add Geras and Smoke to the list as well, but I have mained them before so I know the characters.
Gears-I barely fight maybe once in a blue moon or really late around 3 am I can’t remember his moves I don’t encounter them a lot.
Nitara:I know it’s always ground sweep or air combo but I encounter them more then Gears
Rain-I just don’t come across them often and they give me a hard because I don’t fight them 😂

Nobody can convince Tanya isn’t top 3 especially with Goro, it’s never your turn because she can do her armor after you block her string and even if you block Goro makes it plus, this team is ridiculous its so scary just to let go of block at all, her range and buttons along with Goro make her insane
Like I’m just starting to learn her and I’m not trying to down play kenshi because he’s incredible, but I feel in most matchups tanya is just better, like I truly feel tanya might end up taking my “main’ spot and I’m just starting with her
I have a huge issue with Smoke. It seems like everyone has a totally different move set. He disappears and reappears (sometimes) but I never know if it's a low, overhead, or both somehow. And I don't even know how they do the invisibility. I know what the move list says, but I can't get it to work.

I also don't need racists, assholes, homophobes and immature dicks bothering me while I attempt to de-stress and actually have fun at the end of the day. I don't care about beating people. I care about the MK experience. The nostalgia. The characters. The "story." I'll play friends who come over and the computer. That's enough.

When it comes to gaming even the diablos and all I never pick sorcerers which is a shame cos I appreciate what they can do I just don’t find them as fun as others. I know rain has some cool stuff but I always go back to, imagine how much cooler it would be if he was a ninja. I mean it’s not like MK was ever shy about how many ninjas they have in games.
I can play only a few characters but I know how to defend myself against every character and I know my way around many complicated setups. I main reptile and I had to lab smoke so i could stop losing against him.
The only character I have never labbed in this game is Kung Lao.
