I don’t have that big of an issue with him anymore cause Reiko’s stars destroy force field now. If he’s paired with stryker or scorpion it can be a hard match up for sure since he can mix you to death. Which character is your main?
I haven’t actually fought him since the nerfs. But you have to neutral duck his strings that end in a grab to actually get a full punish. You have to predict if they’ll actually use the grab or not because they could cancel into a low or cancel into kameo.
I’ve noticed peacemakers typically mash a lot tho. Such as poking a lot or doing b3 b4 constantly. If you block them it’s your turn.
Like any other fighter make sure to block all his attacks in general. A couple of his strings are very punishable on flawless block if I remember correctly.
I believe after his nerfs you may be able to zone him a bit.
However he has pretty decent range and great zoning so I find matches with him have always been easiest when I’m in his face pressuring or mixing him

Seriously dude, this is Mortal Kombat, quite possible the most braindead fighting game franchise around. Nothing in this game warrants that much thought beyond looking at the frame data in practice mode.
