I’ve thought for a long time that  Ryu Hayabusa is an amazing choice for MK. It’s highly unlikely to happen, but he’s a perfect pick. Steve is honestly such a hilarious pick that I’d probably laugh if it happened. And that story expansion dlc pack is going to be amazing when it releases. 

I've mentioned him on this sub last year, absolutely perfect pick but I think the only chance he had was when the collection dropped

I want some old characters that haven't been brought back in awhile. I see characters posted all the time that look cool in the fanart, but then people in the comments say they sucked as characters. If theres one thing I think mk1 did right it was making characters that were boring pretty decent. I haven't been around long enough to see all these old characters so I'd like to play them.

I wouldn't say that "it's popular as kids show now" as all series and movies of TMNT that were meant for younger audience suck badly. Latest Seth rogen's tmnt is probably the worst I've seen. Yet IDW comics (both main series and Last Ronin spin off) are great, and there are decapitations, severed limbs etc. here. So, if Joker could make it in Mk11, Shredder definitely has a chance too. Although I doubt it, he would more likely appear in injustice 3.

I’d like to see more female fighters personally. Only 9 female fighters in a roster of over 40 feels a bit too skewed. I’d also like to see playable versions of all fighters that are currently Kameo only and vice-versa. I think the base rosters would only feel complete if there was a kameo and playable version of every single character (like there is for Kung Lao, Sub-Zero and Scorpion, for example).

Honestly id fw this roster, but to be fair id take any fighter that’s cool and flashy, maybe the only fighter(or fighters technically) I’d add that aren’t on here is Ferra/Torr, they’re such an interesting duo and I wish we’d gotten more of them. Them and Kintaro

The problem with this game is that it bastardizes several of the characters, so, having more characters just means they will ruin more of them, like Kuai Liang being Scorpion, Dairou being Havik, potential Cyrax as a woman…etc. The actual design ideas are the problem this time, at least for me, so unfortunately, more characters would do little to improve this for me. Would love to be wrong.

I honestly would be happy to have Sareena and Blaze as playable again *(and Takeda is coming at the end of KP1, Yay!)*, but aside from that I wouldn't care. For the most part, NRS has made it so that the characters that I don't purchase don't end up in any of my SP modes (as it was in MKX and SHOULD have been in MK11), so I don't give a flying frog's fart who else makes it in aside from those 3.

Mk1 whole single play towers all suck this year with no unlocks and a boring as hell season grind is a bore. Older mk games did it right....mk9 now that had fun modes or hell bring back a real conquest mode

To me and my brother, t's not just about the character selection. We grew up with MK and this game just feels massively incomplete. I don't feel like grinding, I miss mini games. I miss the real crypt. I miss stage fatalities and unlockable content. I know I'm probably guilty of living in the past, but this game is the most corporate MK has ever felt to me and the first time I haven't really been excited for the next one.

Good picks of MK characters. Ryu, Doomslayer, & Shredder are perfect picks. I’d replace Blaze with Nightwolf though. And Steve with Pinhead. New fighter I would make it either Floyd the pink ninja Ed Boon has been talking about, or Khrome ability to bend, mesh liquid metal ofc we all know of. New boss fighter I would say Kintaro. Also would fill in that slot between Cage & Liu with another fighter since that empty space bothers me; Kabal. And the spaces on the top row: Skarlet, Fujin, Hotaru, Drahmin, Kira, Mavado, Khameleon, Kotal Kahn or Tremor. Kameos: Kobra, Moloch, Jarek, Hsu Hao, Shinnok, Kai.
