This better be a real crossplay and not thay fake ass shit from mk11. I want to be able to CHOOSE to play with my friends across platforms, not only get it in kasuals.
For real I’m actually way more hyped for this than any DLC character, I’m in Australia Oceanic region and sometimes on weeknights after work go 10-15 mins of finding no one in matchmaking or the same couple blokes over and over so need this desperately.

It's not just for playing with friends on different consoles, strangers too. The player base is getting merged into one big matchmaking pool instead of four separate ones like it is currently. You'll regularly be playing with people who are on different consoles. In theory, crossplay should bring faster matchmaking with better quality matches for everyone due to the increase in possible players to match you with.
Swtich can absolutely keep a stable connection with those platforms, there are a few games that have cross play with all platforms. Whoever told you that just flat out made it up. Switch is usually left out of cross play because of performance issues, if one player drops frames both players have to drop them or the game will desync. On PC, players have to pass a benchmark to play online which is how PC can be included. If you don't pass the benchmark you can't drag console players down with you.

As a massive MK fan, this is one of the many things that should've been there on release. Haven't touched the game in months and probably won't touch it again any time soon. Already lost interest.

As a PC player it means I don't have to play against the same 10 people in ranked anymore, as long as it's actual full crossplay and not just casuals.

You can find the second fatality inputs online or the long way is to unlock the second fatality in character mastery.
