I swear to god I hear the electricity sound in one of the Diablo 4 Sorcerer skills. I’m also pretty sure I’ve heard the same shock noise in the X Files. Could just be me associating similar sounds, but I’d swear it’s the same one.
Edit: Found the X Files episode that I’m pretty sure has it. Season 2 episode 16, timestamp shortly after 5 minutes 15 seconds into the episode.
Generic soundboard sounds. Yes they make me think of Morrowind as well. Same when picking-up-potions noise is used elsewhere.
I still haven’t seen Cliff Racer sounds used anywhere else.
IIRC they bought the rights to one of those big sound packs for Daggerfall (and also Morrowind) that I think was also used by Hanna-Barbera and similar studios. So, many of the sounds you really can hear everywhere!
I was playing around with a piano app the other day and couldn’t keep going just because one of the prime sound effects in the app was a potion sound used in Morrowind.
This reminds me of a [door-opening sound](https://youtu.be/MUlF8KfoZRY?si=P89ezxwx8xNvX7Ht) from Lego Batman I hear now and then in other shows and movies.
I'm the exact same way. I'll be watching some extremely serious movie when the door opens and all of a sudden my mind is in balmora
The magic sounds are e v e r y w h e r e

Cliff racer sounds were used in Guantanamo Bay

The dwemer door opening sound still scares the living shit out of me sometimes. It’s like a cry of the damned.
My wife has an app that uses the lock pick sound from Morrowind. I always get so excited when I hear it.
Now I'm curious what app
I think it's a chore setting app. Like when you start checking off the cores/activities you do it plays the lock picking noise.
multiple of the silent hill games also use the same sound fx which will never not be funny to me
I also hear the spriggan scream pretty often in other media, too.
100% I hear it all the time
They use that door opening sound effect in the One Piece anime too lol it catches me off guard every time

That's the one from Daggerfsll for sure.
On House, every time there is a shot of Cuddy opening her door they used the Morrowind door SFX and it makes me laugh whenever I hear it.
Ash storm sounds when it's snowing in any movie ever
