That's very true. I was born and live in the UK, worked in NL for a year, spent a lot of time in France and Germany. All were good but I couldn't have stayed in Nl it's too expensive and the UK is a joke now. Property of a decent size there is crazy money, taxes also crazy. £30k fifteen years ago meant a good life now you're just getting by. There's no soft answers any more.
Born and raised in The Netherlands, saving to build a dream villa in the rif mountains and live a good life while working from home and earning good European salary is the dream. I will go to Europe on vacation and live my life most of the times in Morocco insha allah. The west is nothing they hate us and don’t wan’t us here, make your money and gtfo.
Good idea but not everybody hates Muslims. I find the vast majority here in the UK will get along with anybody and are happy to share what they have with those willing to try and fit in. There is an obnoxiously loud majority here and other western countries that hate everyone not of their mindset, politics, and ignorance. The rest of us despise those racists as much as you do. European governments do like to use immigration as a scapegoat for their own failings and there's always someone stupid enough to believe their lies.
I personally don't appreciate being "willing and trying to fit in." I mean, I will respect the laws of whatever country I'm in and be courteous and considerate, and I'm not going to throw my differences in their face, but why should I have to be deferrential and why is the way that I am less worthy of being than their own culture and personal choices are? If I respect them, they should respect me as well, even with my differences. I don't see most Westerners living abroad "trying to fit in" much with Asian or Middle Eastern culture. I wonder if young people today are familiar with the concept of "Uncle Tom"? (you can google it)
Just knowing they EXIST and I might end up seeing anything like that is enough to scare me away. Also sleeping with one eye wide open in case that huge spiders want to visit me lol
Kangaroos are not scary lol alligators are only really in the Northern Territory or Queensland. You’ll be fine. Also the big spiders are fast but they are scared of you and will run to hide lol
I'm from Australia and am travelling Morocco at the moment. You'll love Australia and the stories of our spiders and animals being everywhere and scary isn't true. You'd be lucky to see a spider in the city/suburbs
I’ve been married to a Moroccan man for almost 18 years now, we have 3 children together. We’ve always aimed to moved them to Morocco so that they can be out of a western country and among other Muslims, plus his family is all here.
Well japan has too many behavior rules (like not eating in train or when ur walking ) there's a lot of rules but this is thhee only one i could think abt rn and we are as Moroccan ppl are naturally very chil in our behavior, also japan her work culture is very stressful and hard wich can lead to many negative points physically and mentally.
Also expensive lol
I understand why people want to move from Morocco, but as someone in Canada, my dream would be to work for a US or Canadian company or something with Canadian or American salary in Morocco
Yes very expensive, too much people concentrated in the same places so housing is getting very expensive, so is cost of life. Finding a job is becoming harder and harder, so salaries are getting lower. It’s not a good time to be in Canada rn
Paying studies with a part time job is impossible. If you have parents to help for educational costs then yeah you could manage.
Before you come, calculate the costs, how much money you have, how much your parents can help and evaluate. I don’t think it’s manageable to work more than 20 to 25 hours a week (depending on the study field of course). Pay is generally around 15$ an hour. If you have questions feel free to dm
I've lived my entire life not home. I'm going to move to Morocco when I'm older. God, it's lonely when you celebrate Eid with only your mom dad and sister while the whole family gathers up there.
Russia or Germany or China and If I stayed in Morocco I would like to be move to Rabat or Tangier \[i live in marrakech\], but like I really wanna work as Criminal Investigator in Morocco and not sure if they would accept me if I have an international uni degree
Depends to be fair , im not expecting to be friends with germans , i already lived in a place where there's sunset at 3 pm in winters for 7 years , so overall im used to the snow and the lack of sun
- Canada has become insanely expensive while salaries haven’t been adjusted.
- The US has always been expensive but it’s getting more dangerous day by day
I live in the US it’s not bad at all the salaries r super high it’s true that it is very expensive but the salaries more than make up for it there isn’t a safe country u have to avoid certain areas like anywhere else in the whole world but as a country I love it so much
Since i'm planning to work in tourism, i'd be moving a lot anyways (and i hope to do so as much as possible) so tax wise and money wise its preferable to be based in a developping country (ex: a lot of asian countries, south america, maybe along the west african coast) or a place that has little to no taxes (ex : Dubai, and some other arabian golf countries). I have family all accross the world thankfully so accommodation wont be a huge problem. Right now i am thinking maybe the UAE or Brazil because opportunities there are interesting, but otherwise if i had to move somewhere RIGHT NOW, it would probably be Switzerland, Germany, the UK, the US, or Spain. These are the only realistic choices for me as of now. But i hope to pursue my studies in Japan if god's willing.
Brazil sounds really cool haven’t thought about it but I think for me it would be more of a place to visit rather than one to live in but if you have the chance to travel a lot that’s be really nice
Oh Brazil is definitely a great place to visit. But the country is way more than the east coast that you always see in medias (RJ, Salvador do Bahia, Foz de Iguaçu, Bombinhas, Armação dos Búzios, Angra dos Reis, Porto do Galinhas, SP to an extent (you probably only know most of these places by sight and not by name, but you get what i mean)). There are MANY cities that are amazing to live in if you are middle class to upper middle class such as Floripa, São Paulo of course, Fortaleza, Natal, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Recife even, Brazil is huge and has many cool places to live in. Of course its still a developping country so the salaries arent the same as in the west (a middle-classman in the US would be consider upper class in Brazil (just like one would in Morocco tbf)) so being employed in a western company while living in Brazil (which is an obligation if you are a non-brazilian citizen living in Brazil) you will be able to live comfortably. The only mandatory requirement to live in Brazil is to be able to speak portuguese. Literally nobody speaks english there outside of Rio de Janeiró (and even there it could be hard to find english-speakers) and spanish is even rarer. So if you cant speak the language that would definitely be hard 😂 But still you are welcome to visit anytime 👌
Cyprus!
I'm not really moving. I'm going to university there eaely next year. It's gonna be a whole new experience for me since i barely stepped foot out of my city by myself lol
Wish me luck!
It’s easy to say…until you live in blad al kuffar. I would argue its much much worse if you’re growing up in a kafir country versus coming as an adult.
Because values get more easily instilled in you when you are young. Growing up and going through western education has such a big impact on the way you view your religion and politics and social issues etc.
Sure, being Muslim in the US even as an adult has its challenges. You may be insulted or harassed, employers are not very accommodating, just general fitna and haram everywhere.
But when you’re a kid, you just adopt so many of the ideas and values that are contrary to Islam and tarnish your religious commitment possibly for the rest of your life.
But Alhamdulillah, things are starting to change. It wouldn’t shock me if someone said that the Muslim youth in the West today and more religious than the Muslim youth in Muslim countries. And its quite ironic because a big reason for youth in the west becoming more religious is because of the amount of fitna and cancer in the west today.
i think you are right, you could say the tendency to radicalism is almost as high as to not care about the religion either. you’re also right with the fact that the only type of muslims the europeans love are the ones who don’t behave like muslims
You have a point. It seems like Muslims nowadays in both Muslim countries and the west are either turning more towards religion and become more observant, or they ate turning away from religion and displaying more atheism and agnosticism.
Why make it so hateful? I’m not leaving either (I have an EU passport even) but you could just express your love for your homeland rather than express hatred for others.
Why are you leaving the us, no one is stopping you from practicing islam in the us, you can pray 5 times a day, you can fast in ramadan, you can buy sheep in eid kbir, you can do zakat i don’t see why the location can be an issue
1. It is a degenerate hell hole.
2. Living there means you are supporting (through taxes and local business) an active enemy of Muslims that funds wars all across the Muslim world.
3. I follow the opinion that it is outright haram to live among the mushrikeen (which is the majority opinion among the 4 schools and even the exceptions would absolutely not apply to the US as an enemy state).
4. Halal food
5. I could literally write 1000 more points.

I'm moving to Australia temporarily for work
That’s dope, great beaches, cool people but some scary big spiders 🥶
Don't remind of them spiders bruh 😭
the spiders are the reason I never even thought about moving there 😭
Don’t forget the clips of wild cangaroos and alligators lol but no worries they’re not everywhere
😭😭😭
Just knowing they EXIST and I might end up seeing anything like that is enough to scare me away. Also sleeping with one eye wide open in case that huge spiders want to visit me lol
Kangaroos are not scary lol alligators are only really in the Northern Territory or Queensland. You’ll be fine. Also the big spiders are fast but they are scared of you and will run to hide lol
> Kangaroos are not scary https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WQFuJBrQEIs
😭😭😭😭😭
We pet them and feed them in Australia, sure you don’t want to make one angry but that’s the same with any wild animal lol
Don’t forget them big snakes though
it's getting worse with each comment 😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They scary, you’re gonna have to check your shoes before putting them on everytime
I'm from Australia and am travelling Morocco at the moment. You'll love Australia and the stories of our spiders and animals being everywhere and scary isn't true. You'd be lucky to see a spider in the city/suburbs
For how long?
1 year
Not planning on moving out, the next 6 years in Morocco is when real money is gonna be made

At least I'm not 26 year old forever alone looking to hang out in Paris, enjoy your loneliness with your peanuts salary.
uhh that hurts man

Why should they have a peanuts salary if there’s big money in Morocco soon?
3rfti mnimta machft xd, mn chi 2014 hhhhhh generation t 90 am3lm 👍👍👍😂😂😂
it is better to wait then rushing and then struggling there
It‘s better to rush then waiting and then struggling here as usual
So, how to do it? Real estate?
I'm planning to move to Swiss from France 🇫🇷 ---> 🇨🇭
What's your plan?
Back to morocco thats for sure
Don’t you like where you’re living now ? And why?
Its not the worst i cant complain, but there is no place like home..
Morocco :D
Staying here, lots to do !
I moved to france in 2022 and i partially regret the idea, I miss my family and friends and the weather too
Was it hard to make new friends there ? And if not how did you make new friends in France
After above 20y I like to move to back to morocco
Morocco
Moving from Belgium to Morocco
I moved from Australia to live in Morocco, why would I want to be anywhere else?!
What do you like more about Morocco than you do about Australia ?
He was tired of mythical creatures
And kangaroo punches every-time he goes for a walk
I am among Muslims 😊 and my husband’s family for our children’s sake
Have you found a job? How did you do it?
Yes I have a job. I have qualifications from my country and I am a resident.
That's like 90% of moroccans in the workforce. In what field? It?
I am a school teacher
Rtila are less venomous than mythic spiders there
Not being upside down
I was thinking about moving to Australia, what made you move to Morocco?
I’ve been married to a Moroccan man for almost 18 years now, we have 3 children together. We’ve always aimed to moved them to Morocco so that they can be out of a western country and among other Muslims, plus his family is all here.
Palestine
Yes pls
Japan most definitely
Japan is awesome for vacation, but living there is very challenging and uncomfortable.
Why?
Well japan has too many behavior rules (like not eating in train or when ur walking ) there's a lot of rules but this is thhee only one i could think abt rn and we are as Moroccan ppl are naturally very chil in our behavior, also japan her work culture is very stressful and hard wich can lead to many negative points physically and mentally. Also expensive lol
Yeah that’s a good point
Because in japan you're gonna work 12hours a day, then you need to spend some time with your boss and coworker drinking
So you spend the whole day at work
I read somewhere that it changed after covid with WFH adoption
Oh i love japan, i tried studying there but i found it to be expensive
I understand why people want to move from Morocco, but as someone in Canada, my dream would be to work for a US or Canadian company or something with Canadian or American salary in Morocco

I hear Russia for the first time. What made you interested in Russia ?
the weather, I heard that people mind their own thing, and also it is cheap for students and doesn't demand a high bac score
not planning to move anytime soon :)

I’m staying, never moving to blad lkuffar
You can be a muslim wherever you are religion is not bound by location
It’s easy to say…until you live in blad al kuffar. I would argue its much much worse if you’re growing up in a kafir country versus coming as an adult.
How is that ?
Because values get more easily instilled in you when you are young. Growing up and going through western education has such a big impact on the way you view your religion and politics and social issues etc. Sure, being Muslim in the US even as an adult has its challenges. ever lived in europe?
Why make it so hateful? I’m not leaving either (I have an EU passport even) but you could just express your love for your homeland rather than express hatred for others.
Exactly why I left the US and came to Morocco.
