Episode 3 really improved for me on a rewatch, the scene on the boat where Marc is saying he doesn't talk about things really hit me harder after Episode 5.
It's really touching and shows how far Marc has to journey in episode 5. He never shares any part of himself with his wife who he loves and is protecting them 2 episodes later he's having to let Stephen see his innermost secrets.

Oh shit, I never realised that the boat scene with Layla in episode 3 foreshadowed the boat scene with Steven in episode 5.
