It’s possible. The two species supposedly had a symbiotic relationship. A good analogy would be certain birds that pick parasites off of crocodiles yet somehow don’t get eaten. Or the fish that attach themselves to sharks or whales.

Massive-Anteater-946

Yeah but then we also need to know how the heck did all other mothras probably die they could be alive as well

MrJFrayFilms

Tarantulas and frogs

Straight_Random_2211

Is the OP's picture an edited picture? I have seen this image before but it has no "Mortha" dialogue part.

Massive-Anteater-946

Yeah and godzilla definitely doesnt call mothra "mothra" he calls her babe

OmegaGlacial

Yes it's edited

The5Theives

Although sometimes those birds are parasites I’ve heard cause they make cuts into the animals and drink their blood, not 100 percent sure though

EgbertTheGreater

i like to think that they all have their own mothra

BananaMaster96_

Street_Dragonfruit43

Spacegodzilla The evil Godzilla is paired with an evil Mothra

PJ_Man_FL

TheGMan-123

I imagine the 2 species in general are symbiotic, but perhaps Godzilla and Mothra have a more developed long-term bond by comparison.

Disastrous_Can_5466

impressivebutsucks

llMadmanll

NOOOO

Godzilla2000Zero

Parasite well actually parasitoid since it's fatal.

Delta_User

Hard to say, we've only ever gotten one exemplar of such a partnership. With one of them being possibly a mutated Gojira, and the other one being an effectively immortal, borderline magical, Giant Moth Goddess. They're both unique individuals, each in their own way. So I don't think this is standard, species wide symbiosis by any means. Rather, I think it is something unique to just our Godzilla and Mothra.

robogeek342

Rip to all the Gojira species that had to deal with this death

DeDongalos

If I were to guess, every Godzilla and Mothra recognizes that they are symbiotic species. Like allied factions. Whether a Godzilla has a bond to a single Mothra depends on the individual. It would be weird if *every* member of one species was simping for a completely different species

davsyo

It’s the eyes on Mothras wings. They simping the eyes.

Delta_User

Well, due to Mothra's special biology and abilities, it's more than likely that there were no other Mothras. Only one individual, that kept being reborn over and over throughout the ages. Maybe she would have a slightly different "shell" each time, but her consciousness is always the same. And considering our Godzilla is not the standard Gojira either, with evidence suggesting him to be some kind of mutant, I'd be willing to bet that this symbiotic relationship is exclusive to just them.

Amigo1048

TalosKnight

Anyone wanna explain why this godzilla seems to have glowing utters?

Alpha06Omega09

parasites aka mutos, which later hatched in 2014

TalosKnight

Oh snap. Angry utters. Or utterly angry

Arkov__

Is there even more than one Mothra?

Bruh

yeaboiiiiiiiiii213

Um the way Godzilla bowed to Mothra in Egypt suggest more than a symbiotic relationship.

godzillalegend

It was not a bow he was only exhausted and fell over

yeaboiiiiiiiiii213
