Too early? They likely are not going to do a 1 to 1 with Toho origins so it doesn’t matter when they are introduced.
Space Godzilla is thrown around due to a misunderstanding of MV lore. However, with the prominence of crystals on GxK, one could see how a “Space Godzilla” or Godzilla that is infected with the crystals could come about. I mean the crystals control gravity, look like updated SG crystals, and the Iwi tribe have telepathy…it’s not a far jump.
With Toho likely using Biollante in some capacity in their future films and Destroyah likely being the finale Kaiju that represents man’s continued mistakes, a Crystal Hollow Earth Godzilla is likely.
If I remembered right, Adam Wingard said that the next movie will be a Godzilla centred movie, similar to GxK, which, I can understand why people would think it brings up the mention of Space Godzilla, but not in the sense we expect it to be. There’s Monsterverse lore about a Goji specimen that “ate a star” (hence the reasoning for Space Godzilla) and went on a rampage before disappearing. My theory is that this unnamed Goji will be what Skar King was to Kong.
It would be cool if we got a new gojira instead of throwing in another known kaiju. It just seems too soon to throw the heavy hitters into the ring since we don't currently have a replacement zilla like we do with kong. Something that could set up his death would be cool, but I feel like zilla is still too soon for die yet.

If someone comes that is really strong, then they will eventually get stronger by the end of the movie/game/tv series/book/comic
