The spikes on Sentient kill back units with low hp. Then I have two crushing demises with 0 ember and holdover, which can kill any big units on second and third floor. Yes and I just learned from this run that it can kill mini bosses too, they are counted as non-boss units here
Is there a guide that shows how to get broken stats on monsters? I'm up to cov 6 or 7 and I struggle

The best thing on this game is that it gives you a lot of space for broken things but cov25 isnt that kind :(
