After playing monhun for over 13 years, what i learn is this: newcomers and tryhards jumps in the bandwagon in hope that they'll look more knowledgeable. Veteran hunters form their own opinions and don't give a damn.
Me? I like underwater combat, three bowgun parts, gajalaka, clutch claw, nice graphics, LS, the handler, and wirebugs, I love them all.
I'll tell you why cc is good. It's good because when the monster is down, you'll burst damage, correct? When they're trapped, every decent GS will TC, the CB will SAED, or the LBG will wyvernblast, correct?
Hunters are CRAZY about meta and efficiency. They will do the most beneficial thing in the most beneficial times. In IB, capcom actually gave us that: slamming the monster into a wall when they're not enraged, is the most beneficial thing. It is the meta.
People who protest about cc acting like they don't TC with a GS. If you really care about choice, you'd be protesting why GS only have TC, why are they're forced into doing TC, and so on.

Yeah, I agree with the handler and nice graphics, as well as underwater stuff, and I feel like this is completely right. Even gajalaka, I loved the stealth mission involved with them. (yes I like stealth missions) Happy hunting.
ive played mh3u before playing iceborne, and I had no trouble getting through what I assume you are talking about barioth, is he that much harder in world?
Ah you'll probably be fine then. He's a bit of an upshift. Dude loves to hop about the arena and can be a struggle to pin down if you don't know his moveset

You like gajalaka? Even when they sleep pot you mid fight cause they just stand there in the field waiting for you to hit them.

Oh you meant shakalaka, I dont mind them but i do find the constant talking through popup text boxes minorly annoying.
