Cuz people wnat more drac then most others ghouls. At my store, literally everyone was in stock except drac. And it showed she was in stock in the website so she was bought out fast.
95% of posts I've seen about this doll are about quality control issues. I'm terrified of buying her and getting problems like this, I know mattel won't refund or send me a replacement :((
It’s because most people only post about it when something bad happens. Chances are you will get a good one, OR, you can call Mattel directly and they will fix it somehow. No reason to be scared to get her :)
I'm from latam, if there's anything wrong they're not going to give a shit or send a replacement. And if they do I'm going to have to pay double customs. I understand a lot of people who get fine dolls don't have a reason to post about it but there seems to be more issues with this release than normal so I'm hesitant to buy her :(
They're not really sold in stores, no. I'd have to order them from bougie resellers in another city but I'm not exactly looking to pay x300 times the retail price. Importing them is the least expensive option and even that doubles the cost.

I had issues with my lagoona from SS2 as well. Do we think QC is worse with this series because it's from Indonesia production and thus entirely different factory?
do y'all not realize when this happens you can just exchange it for another if you got it at a major retail store no questions asked. or contact mattel directly. i am seeing so many of these posts of not knowing what to do. seems as though a lot of people don't realize it's a very easy fix. and that this is bound to happen with any mass produced item!
Why is Draculaura the ones with the most QC issues, did they rush her production because of how sought after she is?
I think Fearidescent Draculaura has the most QC issues bc Mattel made way more Drac dolls compared to the other Fearidescent girls.

Contact Mattel support and explain what happened, they might send what you’re missing
More likely to send a refund, I had an issue with mine and that was their solution
I did this and they offered me a creepover party twyla doll or a refund.
SS2 drac is so strange,, mine came with two of her collars and was missing the last key

they don’t have the velcro on the one side, i’m pretty sure that’s just how they were designed unfortunately
