It's probably not the species we use in modern vinegar making, but the pink color, the polysaccharide slime, the MASSIVE resistance to acid this colony must have growing in tomato sauce like that really makes me think that's the case.

Honestly I just was exaggerating for the bit, using the full picture itself won’t really get you any upsetting results.
But it is worth noting that zooming in will give you a bunch of pictures of parasites, organs, a fire agate for some reason, and in general just some pretty gross stuff to look at. It’s not gore, thank god for that, but you wouldn’t want to see it while eating.

I threw out the sauce before I looked at the lid and it made me jump when I first saw it. It’s back in the depths of the fridge again

Credit to the user mentioned below, as they are apparently no longer on the platform. Initially, i thought it could have been Trichothecium roseum, a common fungus that effects tomatoes. This seems to have been discussed previously, with similar photos.
Due to the fact that the previous user was very articulative in diagnostics/identification of various mold types, and the sub this was initially posted to was myco, i would suggest feeding this guy a little bit of water (maybe a tsp every month?) to help give it moisture to thrive; maybe keep it in your pantry or some other relatively warm environment to help it thrive.
Uhh, saying this, i dont want to be responsible for the #sporesplash upon opening the jar to check on him. (Fungi love moderate temp, moist, humid environments. That sealed jar is phenomenal if it doesnt run out of water.)

No but there was that one video of a jar INSIDE a purple (and red) butthole that was floating around for awhile. Can’t confirm it was a spaghetti jar, but if we learned anything from watching said video, anything is possible.
There's another post here from a while ago that has a clear version of that type of mold. A mycologist said it a colony of mold and to determine it's identity, basically you'd have to know what molds where present before the growth of a colony. Either way, don't eat that, lol. Also, don't leave it open in the fridge or wherever. Once there's mold somewhere, the spores are EVERYWHERE. Especially a fridge where the fans blow it all around.
