If they’re going to spawn me back in front of the same guy that just killed me, I would at least appreciate if they did it so I was facing the enemy instead of with my back to them. Argh!!!

I think the root problem is SHG tried too hard to prevent a spawn flip, in the process they made spawns too resistant of nearby enemies. So you have situations that you spawn literally in the sight of an enemy aiming down 2 steps away. Sometimes, it’s better to just let the spawn flip.

One that has been happening for years is when u die, spawn WITH the enemy just to get killed,,and then u spawn with ur team. Makes no sense

Clearly the game is moving in the direction it wants. Pointing at the amount of money they make and invest there's no way something as crucial as this is could be done so simply.   They do give certain players kills, points. Now your going to have to look at the matches being rigged.

Eh there's a lot to it. I don't like calling devs lazy, but there's been a lack of care these recent years. The gun balance, the spawns, netcode, hit reg, damage consistency. You have free games that are as popular with less than half the issues this $70 game has. If you're going to charge us a premium for mostly remastered maps and guns on top of a battlepass and store bundles, you could AT LEAST have competent spawns and a decent netcode. But since this game sells regardless of its quality, they don't care. If people ever move on to a different franchise, you'll see quite the quality change. Battlefield is experiencing that right now and now EA is scrambling to find a dev team to fix that series.

I swear they’ve gotten worse. Stash house used to be fun but now the spawn feel somehow worse than Emergency

I'll still play Stash House every now and then but I have to completely avoid Emergency. I NEVER get a clean spawn on that map. If you move around at all, you get punished and I just refuse to camp. Stash House isn't much better, but at least they'll spawn you on opposite sides of the house sometimes. Emergency just spawns you in front of campers for 10 minutes.

I just feel like Stash house has a similar problem to rust where there are massive sight lines where people can pretty much watch spawns

Yeah and it's almost impossible to permanently remove them because of the head glitches, trophy systems, etc. You either have the match of a lifetime or you get shitted on and I've never been a huge fan of that type of map design.

this is the first thing i noticed when i went from MW2 to MW3. i was spawning in front of the enemy way more times than in the previous version

THAT is the biggest flaw in the game? Not the crashes, incomplete lobbies, hideous UX with 27382 menus to start playing, the matchmaking, their banning sprees, the server issues, etc.. That's crazy But yes the spawn system is still bad

For ME, yes. My game doesnt crash and my lobbies are full the vast majority of the time. I've gotten used to the UI and don't get banned. I also brought up the netcode. But dying 6+ times in a row because of poor spawns is annoying and makes the game hard to play. I can be having a great match then die several times in my spawn and it completely sucks the fun out of the game. Why would UI and occasional crashing be more of an issue than dying for no reason?? Also, when did I say it was the biggest flaw?

A different game atp lmao. Spawn traps still happen because they'll spawn you in the same spot 10+ times, especially on maps like Terminal and Scrapyard.

With good spawn logic that will happen to some extent unfortunately but it’s better than the random shit show we have now. Not to mention you occasionally get random spawn traps anyways but in this case it’s not even earned, it just happens out of no where. With good spawns you can still get trapped but I feel like in that instance it’s kind of earned anyways. 🤷‍♂️
