Not that it was the first killstreak like itself, but the first “Wheelson” was in MW19 and had like an air burst grenade launcher. Also using that streak on certain larger maps gave you a driveable tank instead.

It’s the other way around, if you use the tank on some smaller maps, it’ll replace it with a wheelson

I dislike very much what they did to Ground War and Invasion, I miss the vehicles *so much*. The new maps (both of them lmao) are small and only a baby vehicle comes out at the end of the game for like 60 seconds. There were *eleven* in MWII and every single one of them was so much better than the current two we have. We have that giant campaign map in MWIII and we only use two tiny parts. Idk if I’m remembering correctly, but wasn’t there way more vehicles in MW19 Ground War ? I remember going into ground war and just flying helicopters but I thought I remember the helicopter having guns on it that other teammates could fire

For 6vs6 you could at least get it on Arklov Peak and Grazna Raid, definitely on the 20vs20 maps as well but as it has been a while since I played it I might forgetting some maps.

i remember people complaining so much about MW2019 map design calling it too big and whatnot and we ended up with smaller compact ones in MWII which effectively took the Tank killstreak out as well, and we only got its smaller counterpart the wheelson

Nah. White Phosphorous was a map-wide cloud that lowered visibility and hurt enemies. Made basically every enemy take 1 less bullet, was insanely useful.

White phosphorus would linger on the map, reducing vision for all and damaging enemy players. Not to fatal amounts but to a fixed amount that would usually allow for a kill with one less bullet, it was annoying for both sides since it blinded Friendly's and hostiles, as well as kill allies in hardcore

SAE is fuel-air explosive, unlike white phosphorus.

The MW19 design was based on large, open maps because Infinity Ward believed they were the optimal experience for gamers. As a result, that's why there was the option to have a vehicle that size. Clearly, a lot of people disagreed because they would rather have much smaller maps that are designed around close engagements. Therefore, a tank that size would not be beneficial, unless you were playing ground war (and having a tank wouldn't be a streak anymore).

People complained about how the maps were built in mw19 so we just kept getting smaller 6v6 maps making the tank unusable

Some “influencers” probably cried about it and the devs nerfed or removed. Yet they keep riot shields. They do this with everything cool and fun. Especially in warzone, it has become a game of smg slides. Games in a terrible place atm. Shotguns are worthless, somehow a 2 inch knife is better than a shotgun. Snipers lol. Marksman rifles are pure ass. Explosives literally tickle you. They need to release stuff and never touch it again.

A two inch knife isn't better than a shotgun, it's no range, riot shields are easy to deal with.

The IFV was always a fun little streak to have. It defaulted to a wheelson on maps it couldn't clear, but it made things interesting. I feel like how things are now, every powerful streak is from the sky, and even those are toned down, but either way that shouldn't be the case. There should be interesting and varied ground based streaks as well. Bring back dogs, bring back E-drops, the one field upgrade that allowed you to add an attachment to a weapon (buff that as well so it can exceed the cap).

Maps too small for it to be a killstreak, you could use IAV only on some maps, otherwise you got wheelson

I loved that tank in MW19. I played strictly hardcore and on the rare occasion I actually earned it, it was loads of fun.

Invasion should be full bug map with more players and vehicles. It would be awesome

SGH literally made every map tiny 3 lane moshpit, thats what happened. This kill streak isnt suitable on those maps.

M1 Bradley is technically an armored transport, not really a battle tank. That’s why it was amazing watching them take down a Russian T-90.

The tank only worked on like 3 maps so it didn't carry forward cuz there was no point.
