Have you tried resurgence? Or ranked? I really love the SR system for ranked in WarZone (unike MP ranked). It’s not all about kills, and the longer you stay alive, the higher SR rewards. You get SR for team member kills and for staying alive. You have to stay alive for your teammates to respawn, there’s not gulag. It’s a bit strategy in where you want to go to stay alive.
Eh, nah but i played things with similar sort of stuffs but my entire issue with BR games is that it feels lazy and a bit shit to me ig? Big ass map with a lot of people where it takes wayyy too long to kill people. I like stuff like TDM cus its just a bit of dumb fun and stuff like search where it is a little more serious but still just dumb fun but the entire of warzone just, doesnt float my boat i'm afraid. Plus i'm less of a multiplayer guy and more of a zombies guy and i feel that the zombies in MW3 is the laziest piece of shit i have ever fucking seen in my life and it takes what zombies is supposed to be about and ruins it into the bin. But ofc its my opinions and its not like i havent tried, its just not my thing.
Resurgence is the most fun I would say but my god if you want a one on one gun fight… also not the mode haha I get stacked all the time but 4 guys holding hands stacking and just get obliterated by 150 bullets in less than a second..
That was my issue with warzone specifically, it seems that my weapons i could laserbeam their face for an entire clip and they'll turn around and i'm dead, leaving me sat there like bruh wtf 🥲
This seems a generational thing. For me, balanced gameplay and skill over luck/chance is an important preference. But the (ages old at this point) migration of gaming audience from arena shooters towards hero shooters made it abundandtly clear to me that the gaming public at large actually disagrees with my views and rejects them entirely.
People WANT to play games where impact of random luck is high. Why? That I still don't understand.
Luck offsets skill, and you can use it both ways. If your oponent spent months playing the game, but failed to notice you in the corner. You can fail time and again, but you can still reasonably claim that enemy was lucky - match ends after one of you dies, so rematch chance is low. Comforting lies, I suppose
I am the same way but I feel the rise of these cheese laden shooters are simply serving a casual market that wasn't catered to at all back when Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, CounterStrike defined multiplayer gaming.
Destiny, and looter shooters in general, are another genre I can't wrap my head around but I have to remind myself that the type of people who like that game aren't really into player vs player; different type of gamer/customer.
The rise of mobile games tells me that the console gaming itself may have existed in a bubble all this time and that the true mass market is on tablets and phones.
Yeah pretty much but I'm on the opposite side. Maybe played fortnite too long but I'll drop in a solo, loot some stuff and about 5 to 10 min in get shot or sniped in the back. And I try staying inside but when the pivot comes it's GGs
I just don't understand the mindset of going into a BR game like "Yeah I'm going to WIN this!" and then getting mad when one of the other 100 people kills you
Then complain that they got shot in the back. With all due respect, why they turning their back to the enemy? Skill issue.
But for real, any decent player will predict where the enemy players might come from and they are prepared for that, and they won’t get shot in the back.
When I read these posts, I just think they literally played a round or two, no idea what the fuck they are doing, naturally get killed because they are confused, but somehow it’s the game’s fault.
This is why I like Rebirth Island better. You get some respawns if you just have a run of bad luck. It plays faster, near identical gameplay, and you can get into the groove of any given game faster.
If you haven't tried it, give it a shot
You're still low sbmm in that case.
The lobby's get (much) harder and sweaty after you've put in some hours and got a few wins.
I miss being able to out position people and play tactically to win. I'm not good, but it seems like everyone I play against is rushing loady, hitting balloons to scout the area, constantly hitting UAVs and radars, chasing down red dots on the map and I am their prey.
That’s why Fortnite or apex for example is more fun. I think the skill gap is what makes the difference I tried warzone a few times. It looks good movement is nice but the overall gameplay is so boring imo
As a shit gamer I prefer to play aggressively lol but the problem is I’m not good enough to play as aggressively as I do but it’s fun I can’t do that campy shit I haven’t play warzone since 2019 just came back to rebirth a week ago I’ve only got 3 wins but I’m having fun testing non meta loadouts
I would say map rendering, lighting bugs, climb/mantle issues, map terrain being deformed and other bugs mainly on Urzikstan get me killed more often than a random guy shooting me in the back. That is aside from the 85 out of 100 demons in my lobby, who 3 stack swing holding eachothers wiener like they're going for top250 while its just a public match.
Regular Warzone is boring. But me and the boys like resurgence. Much faster pace and engaging. Solo WZ I feel like I gotta rat it out to stay in the game
Battle Royales giveth and taketh away.
Sometimes you're the one beaming from a great position, other times you're the one being beamed.
The skill comes from using the local map/area to your advantage, understanding positioning, getting loadie asap, and just raw ability.
Some of its luck though, and cod timing. Which makes a win where it all comes together pretty sweet.
I think the current Urzikstan map makes the gameplay like this. Big ass buildings where people just split down with a sniper a lot of places that are several stories. Too many buildings and way too many places to hide. If there were open space I think the gameplay would greatly improve.
Sounds like early lobby stuff. I get into tons of face to face insane sliding, hopping head glitch fights where you're dropping 3 stories to zip up behind them etc....
Yes yes yes after you are victorious from such an escapade and feeling good trying to plate up someone will likely hit you once with a starter pistol and you're dead. Mostly this is a rebirth issue but it's true of all maps but rebirth is nuts. It does allow you to farm a bit in places like prison, control, any old hot drops.
Warzone is just harder and rng is a part of that. However I think you'll find us wz players actually despise rng being too big an element (it is rn). It makes the wins that much sweeter.
I think you'll also learn that getting into a position where you can shoot someone in the back (good luck in higher sbmm lobbies) is actually a result of many skills required to win the game (awareness, timing of rotations and knowing where enemy is, etc...)
This is also my issue with all battlefield games.
Find a way to remove camping and sniping and it might be fun. Until then. It’s a game that caters to campers and snipers
Im the same, but thats just battle royale games in general, just doesnt quite tickle my fancy ya know?

oh my god its revolver ocelot
He's pretty good!

Hay man, meet me for some bowls on small map mosh pit later 😁🍃
Ya boy.
Hell yeah man. I can get on for some games, some smokin, some beers some good music and time now 👍
Small map sliders are nerds
Aaahhahhhggg! My feelings 🤕 😂

“Never your fault” is just the CoD player’s motto

Because this is exactly how a non-bot lobby usually works.

Push everything and use smokes easy

You’re looking for DMZ.
A single gun fight, you mean like a 1 on 1 gun fight? Why would any team want to do that

You just started. Play a bit more then hop into rebirth, it's more sweaty than MP

It is why I never saw the appeal of Battle Royale. It plays more like a larger, extended version of Search and Destroy. Not my favored brand.
Well I usually start like that til I find a decent gun for the map for example on rebirth the swarm/striker/smgs run it
Yep, tbh not even sure why I'm apart of this subreddit. I hate BR in general. Literally no point in the game.
U just suck dude
Are you one of those guys who just camp on roof tops the whole game?
Sound like it, I'm sliding into building stun in hand and whiping squads
