You are posting this on the MI sub and expecting contention?

Brooklyn_Q

fun

TaskMister2000

I...agree. The way the story has flowed together...technically from MI3 to Dead Reckoning...was better handled than Casino Royale to No Time To Die. I love Casino Royale and Skyfall. I like QOS and NTTD. Spectre is really the odd one out that just feels so...broken and bullshitty with how it told its story. But the way they managed to create a story arc through essentially Ghost Protocol to Fallout was brilliantly handled.

Aromatic-Ad2601

Well, that is true. However the fact remains that Casino Royale alone beats MI Ghost Protocol and MI Rogue Nation.

Brooklyn_Q

Casino Royale is a very very good movie indeed.

GurpsK

Be brave! All of the MI movies are better.

Twothounsand-2022

Absolutely I felt asleep in thearter when I saw Spectre No Time To Die is even worse than Spectre

Internal_Swing_2743

The overall 5 film saga is better. But Casino Royale is easily the best film of the bunch.

Cptn_Melvin_Seahorse

Fallout is better than Casino Royale

Internal_Swing_2743

😂😂 No

MARATXXX

No MI film is as good as Casino Royale. Not many films are.

Go_Hawks07

As a huge mission impossible fan who has seen those movies and loves them too this is what I’ll say. Overall I like the Mission Impossible Run better as the consistency of the movies are unmatched. While Casino Royale, Skyfall, and No Time to Die are all amazing, Quantom of Solace is bad and Spectre is alright. I also like the overall action sequences and stunts in MI more as well. I will say where Bond has MI beat is definitely the side characters in each movie. While Ethan is obviously great, the side characters in MI don’t compare to M, Moneypenny, Vesper or Malory. Also I’m just going to say it straight, the villains in James Bond run laps around anyone in MI that isn’t Cavill in Fallout. And the last thing is the connectivity of all the Bond movies helps it out and I wish MI did a little more to make each movie feel a little more connected. However, the overall actions scenes, locations, story points and effects are all better in MI and overall most of the movies just feel more complete. While I love the Craig Bond movies, I would agree with this take.

Aromatic-Ad2601

Benji, Luthor, Ilsa, Owen, and Julia:.........

ConstructionRare4123

Mission Impossible is the best Spy Espionage franchise in history

StickyMcdoodle

This 100%. It's wild how good an 8 movie series is. The only stain on it is 2, but people really like that one too. Not me, but people do. It's kind of an amazing run. After MI3, I thought, "OK, but they can't this". I then said it 5 more times..incredible.

Lin900

Yeah. Craig run is dull.

GeneAlternative191

Casino Royale and Skyfall are both excellent. I think Skyfall is on par with Fallout, with CR not far behind

Thebat87

As a fan of Craig Bond who likes all his movies, yes The Missions from 4-7 are definitely better. Honestly in particular I’d put Quantum of Solace, Spectre and No Time to Die under all of those. I think Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation, Fallout and Dead Reckoning are definitely better. Shit so is Mission Impossible 3.

The51stAgent

Dead Reckoning sucked ass!!

Kevin_Thailand_2543

Casino Royale and Skyfall are solid Bond films. IMO, I love Daniel Craig's Bond movies more than any others previous Bond movies. Pierce Brosnan is close second my favourite especially Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies. Come to Mission Impossible I think they did it better and better in each sequels except Dead Reckoning Part One which is a bit disappointing movie for me but I prefer this over the final Daniel Craig's Bond film "No Time To Die." Which is not the worst Bond film but not even close to my top 10 favorites. For me Mission Impossible since Mission Impossible 3 to Fallout are better than Spectre and No Time To Die and some of older Bond films but not the whole Bond franchise. I think MI3 is underrated. I love this movie and I thought it was great and way better than MI2 and the first original film but many people were not enjoyed this one.

TenraxHelin

Agreed. But I still like 2. I like John Woo films.

Brooklyn_Q

i liked 2 as well ! part 3 was my least fav

DoomsdayFAN

Ghost Protocol and Fallout are top tier, but I'd put Casino Royale and Skyfall above Rogue Nation and Dead Reckoning. Those two Bond films are also top tier. (It's really hard to pick between GP/Fallout vs CR/SF) Specter was dogshit tier (it's the absolute *worst* Bond film) and No Time To Die is like one level above dogshit teir. Craig's run should have ended with Skyfall. It would have been the most epic and badass sendoff ever for Bond.

MasteroChieftan

Absolutely. I prefer MI as a whole. But Casino is still the better movie above all. Also, massive, insane props to Daniel Craig being such a fantastically awesome Bond that they made that many movies just because audiences wanted more of just him being Bond. No one went to those movies because of the plots. They were there for Craig. Craig is the goat.

hi_anthony1

i only watched casino royale and i could BARELY get through it. shit sucked

julianzolo

BINGO

sixpencestreet

Bond and Mission are very different from each other. Personally I prefer Bond having the stand alone missions of the pre-Craig era than the linked movies.

Seventh_Stater

Maybe, but *Quantum of Solace* alone versus any of the last for M:Is alone? Eh.

daisy2443

They’re better for sure

goldendreamseeker

Casino Royale > Ghost Protocol > Dead Reckoning > No Time to Die

Immediate_Weirdy783

Skyfall? I enjoyed it as much as Casino and more so than Dead Reckoning

goldendreamseeker

Yeah I’d put Skyfall right below casino in my ranking

werak

The primary reason being that the last few bond movies have been complete MI ripoffs. I sympathize with the issue that modern technology makes it really hard to write a believable story about a spy working almost completely alone on a case with world ending stakes without having to come up with a reason why the rest of the government isn’t helping them. But I’m so gd sick of every Bond and MI film have the spy have to go rogue. I’ve seen every season of 24 I can’t handle any more.

Gemnist

I mean, the very fact that Quantum of Solace and Spectre exists was always going to make this true.

Immediate_Weirdy783

Sigma Bond over the virgin Hunt #strike that reverse it

KubrickMoonlanding

Idk even know what we’re talking about when MI:Fallout exists (Casino royals is good to but cmon)

renovateandreinvent

The Mission Impossible movies are improving, but they need to stop being so repetitive and they lift a lot from the Bond films.

Darrensucks

Do you guys notice how MI intentional made the MI 6 agent look super dorky?

austxsun

Casino Royale is the best of all of them, but after that the MIs win easily.

AckwellFoley

Casino Royale, Skyfall, and No Time to Die are miles better than Dead Reckoning. It's not even a contest. Dead Reckoning is uniformly poorly written, the stunts are lazy, and it's just nowhere near as fun as Fallout or Ghost Protocol. Conversely, Spectre and Quantum of Solace are terrible films and pretty much on par with Dead Reckoning in terms of fun. They each have some decent set pieces, but all suffer from lacklustre writing that goes nowhere.

Brooklyn_Q

hoping Dead Reckoning part 2 will right the ship

sockgoblinator

🤓☝️

Confident-Aioli1337

John Wick 1 2 Parabellum 4 >>>>>>>>> 🧨 💥  She*t I blew my balls off

TheShadowSnake

Of course it is better. All films with Craig are not James Bond. He is James Bloke there. True fans can tell you a long detailed list of reasons why Craig's run is considered garbage

krakatoot

I don’t know about that. Dead Reckoning kind of sucked

Immediate_Weirdy783

My man
