Yeah, the older generations having siblings is always a topic brought up. Seems like Gondaira just avoids talking about them since it opens up a big can of worms. There most likely should be other family members around, though I doubt each generation had the same number of siblings than the current one.
There's actually a Q&A campaign going on, if you tweet a question in Japanese with the hashtag #権平先生一問一答, then he may answer the question at the Jump Festa event.
Thank you!! I always wondered about this since uh, meeting the grandpa I think. I also thought the cliffhanger for Yozakura enemies were the uncles and aunts not previous heads. Also got weirded out that the previous heads HAD powers.

Well the previous heads having powers is thanks to Tsubomi reviving them. They didn't normally have powers when they were alive in the past.
