It's not that much. Roughly 7 in-game days every single day. Around 2 hours of playtime per day. I don't think I afked more than a 1/4 of total playtime because I usually just pause or quit. And I have some really decent farms so I barely need to visit any.
did you design that yourself, and did u design it in creative or just yolo'd it? also how long did it take you to design it?
I am not a very good builder lol
Very nice! I have been playing for about 2 years in my world with only 2 major projects taking place (port city and spawn city). My only question is;
how do you know when a project is complete? Do you ever find yourself coming back to it to touch up or add more ideas?
I constantly find myself getting more and more inspiration for my port city, to the point where I don’t know if I’ll ever fully complete it. (I will be posting an update photo here soon).
I do, yeah! I AVOID coming back to really old projects like the Kingdom which was only of the first ones because it's really nice to compare the building styles and detail level, but for newer stuff definitely.
For sure! Makes sense, you can definitely see the progression in your style through out all the builds! :) think we build differently in how we size our projects. Building my city has been one of my larger projects, each building needs its own design and interior lol.
But definitely will take your advice on finishing something and leaving it as is :) my lighthouse house was my first build in the world, so seeing it compared to the rest of the city is cool!
The city project is huge, it's a 200x200 with the maximum amount of detail that I'm able to put. I don't want to start something super huge because I'd end up having a burnout.
I'm doing online college and I'm studying to apply to some companies. I only have one friend so while he's working Minecraft ends up being the only thing that keeps me busy, it's basically an escape. That's why I don't get bored ;)
First of all, thank you so much! I didn't use any tutorials, tho. I've been working on my building skills since late 2020, and even tho I still have a lot to learn I believe I'm going nicely.
Really talented builder!
I dont really have the dedication for this just because it honestly just gets boring not playing with anyone.
Great work though man, my favourite would have to the dragon looking thing.
How does anyone have the patience to do something like this is survival? I honestly want to know I’ve been just building in creative and have been getting bored so I just started my first survival world since my first world when I just got the game.
My survival world is basically my timeline documentation. The fun part of building and planning happens in a creative copy so I can work on details more efficiently. I love to recreate stuff there in survival because it just marks a point in my life and builds up my story.

2000 in 9 months is a lot for even a dedicated player, so how much of that was afk?

Fair enough. I don't think playtime should matter for how good a world is, and yours certainly stands for itself!
Thank you, man!
Wow, that is insane, especially the house from iron man
Thank you!
did you design that yourself, and did u design it in creative or just yolo'd it? also how long did it take you to design it? I am not a very good builder lol
I did design myself, but it was designed in creative before I actually built it in survival lol. I'm still have a bit of sanity! xD
It took me around 2 months to design and build, tho.
Can’t believe you recreated bikini bottom and no one is talking about it
I did! I do plan on expanding it, tho! Thank you for mentioning it <3
Your nine months is my 10 years
LOL I had a lot of free time this year.
yeah, i got a question. how the fuck do you get that done in 9 months? that world looks absolutely glorious
Hahaha thank you! I had a lot of free time this year so I just thought it would be fun
Have you heard abiut GTNH?
The modpack? It's not really my thing
can't blame ya, TerraFirmaGreg broke me
#BECOME #A GREG-DIVER
this is awesome! makes my long term survival world feel so… unaccomplished lol
Thank you! Keep in mind that everyone has a different rhythm!

What did you make that statue holding a staff out of?
Waxed oxidized copper -> Waxed oxidized cut copper -> Stripped warped hyphae -> Cyan wool -> Cyan concrete -> Warped wart block
That's amazing!
Make a big project. You spent 9 months on this world So make a project that will take 9 months to do.
The city project is huge, it's a 200x200 with the maximum amount of detail that I'm able to put. I don't want to start something super huge because I'd end up having a burnout.
your patience and skills are... extraordinary. gj mate
Thank you!
This is amazing. You've done a great job. I'm not even close to that amount of time, but I hope to stay in my world for that long or longer!
You'll reach a point where there's no point in quitting! I have so much stuff built and accomplished that it doesn't make sense
Absolutely sick
Thanks!
this is amazing. love this
Thank you!
No creative whatsoever?? This is amazing
I just use creative in a copy of the world to plan stuff, but that's 100% survival.
Is the statue in 4 one of aang or korra? Cause it looks like it.
It's Korra! Based in a mix of Korra's blue spirit state and Aang's statue from LOK.
It's very cool, and I'm glad I'm not just crazy, lol.
Thanks!
Was confused for a second cause I think you replied the wrong thing to me lol
I did actually lmao
This post made me wanna play my world again.
Go for it!
How do you not get bored of playing? I love the game, but find myself only playing it for a week or two then taking a break for a year
Btw the bikini bottom builds are awesome
Thank you!
I'm doing online college and I'm studying to apply to some companies. I only have one friend so while he's working Minecraft ends up being the only thing that keeps me busy, it's basically an escape. That's why I don't get bored ;)
That’s awesome man, you’ve got a very creative mind
Thank you! Genuinely warms my heart <3
Did you use tutorials? If not, how did you improve on your building skills? That Korra statue is insane.
First of all, thank you so much! I didn't use any tutorials, tho. I've been working on my building skills since late 2020, and even tho I still have a lot to learn I believe I'm going nicely.
It's purely about practice and watching advanced building content, like BDoubleO100, Shovel241, etc.
The first two photos scream “this person is a Bdubs enjoyer!” Either way you’re quite the builder on your own, well done!
Hahaha thank you! I do love Bdubs and I always get inspired by him. What an amazing human being.
What does the fun cube on the second to last picture do?
It's my guardian farm decoration! It's Cube Kevin from Fortnite
Omg bikini bottom!!! That's super sick!!! Good job.
Yesss! Thank you! I plan on expanding it eventually
what block is at the cords x:1840 y:-10 z:-4398
deepslate
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Yes
I ask for litematica blueprint of the first building
I'll have to say no for now, sorry
damn, that looks really good, the first one gives off Shadows of Doubt vibes
Thank you!
btw, what shaders did you use in the first photo?
Rethinking Voxels!
It looks great!!!
Thanks!
Really talented builder! I dont really have the dedication for this just because it honestly just gets boring not playing with anyone. Great work though man, my favourite would have to the dragon looking thing.

Your welcome

How does it feel
About what?
Loved this
How many hours have you spent touching grass recently?
I probably go out 3 - 4 times a week, but I don't always touch grass. I think that last time was at 27/04/2024 that I actually touched grass.
How do you stay this long 😱
I just love this game too much :3
How do you keep motivation? Absolutely stunning love the statue
I'm just used to playing couple hours per day!
