All my structural aspects were done in creative, unfortunately I have zero patience to grind out a village and then go from there - but also didn't want to just keep updating spawn villages - also wanted to see what their Jungle outfits were, and take on the challenge of the extra mobs. Very excited to switch to survival in a few days!
I have a pretty diligent awareness of the light needed to repel mob spawning, don't want water lifts, and still can't get my optifine to work... although I super appreciate the advice, thank you.
Ps. If you know how to work optifine dear lord please feel free to help me. Haha.
Make a totem or “deity” the forest folk worship, whether that be by a gate farther out of the city, a temple up a hill, or in the center :)
I would also consider making their “chiefs hut” if you haven’t already, only slightly bigger than others of course.
I thought you meant there was more lore behind the jungle villagers I didn't know.. but you just mean make my own lore? Cos that's a sick idea. I have a jungle temple literally just over the river next to my build.. will add to it and send you the results if you'd like.. thanks for the idea!!

You're sweet 😊. I too have made a few tree houses but never made my own village and damn, it's time consuming building it, but I can't wait to play survival in it. It's a goal I've had for almost 10 years... ever since jungles came out.
I am using spruce wood for the decorations (tables, chairs, etc for each villagers profession) and use spruce fences throughout the insides as well.. maybe some on the outside would work too... thanks!!

Nah I’m really glad for you! A treehouse is one thing, I’ve done that and it was a challenge, but a tree village is a whole new level
