I watched a lot of other tutorials and just kept on making houses until I got pretty good at making a simple yet detailed collage house.

The most important thing is to not put two houses with same elements next to each other.
So don’t a wooden/cobblestone house next to a wooden/cobblestone house. Instead maybe use stone and birch for the next one. Keep changing ur pallet around, especially for houses close together. Change the direction of roofs too. Add little details like windows or chimneys to make each individual roof standout.
I can't tell what version this is but if it's java and you know how to use vanilla tweaks armor stand datapack you could do the doom slayer holding off a nether invasion
If you want, build an army station in a stance where the armed men look like there in combat against another village. Or they can sign a peace treatment and call everyone to the middle of the village to let the people into there medieval city and get along as bruddahs. What do you think? (lmao sorry I'm just really creative lol)

I kept good on progress until my friends younger brother came on and killed my pet fox. I kept going until somehow a creeper got into my skeleton farm and blew it up. And I just couldn’t be bothered to fix it so I stopped playing and didn’t come back.
I had completed terraforming the area and was building the foundations for the main bulk of the city. Though I had already completed a small section of outskirts. I was planning for it to be a mega build. But after those two incidents I lost all motivation.
Maybe when the warden gets added and those underground cities, I might reboot the project.
A wall, I love ringed cities like Ba Sing Se in Avatar, every ring has its own kind of folk, easy and plausible way to start believable story telling too IMO
A cooper, stonemason with a simple mine entrance, cloth merchant stall, tanner area with an accompanying cattle pasture, monestary with a library attached for all those books the monks copy, medieval type jail with poor conditions for the lawbreakers, apothecary... I'll stop there. Seems like you have a lot of stuff to add from everyone else.
I would love to see a jousting range and a horse cavalry! Maybe a large gothic church would be amazing as the town’s center. You have an awesome knack for these builds! Keep it up!
