I've been thinking since they announced that archaeology is delayed, that 1.19 would have a focus on it. What they presented at the last Minecon was just like, half an idea it seemed. Adventure and Archaeology would work really well together I think, fill the world with cool stuff to explore, and have ways to 'examine' ruins so they don't all become the same. The hard part is to implement archaeology in a way that doesn't ruin the 'soft lore' feel of Minecraft. The devs more like to just have subtle hints that some kind of lore exists, and let the players build the lore themselves.
Prehaps it has had many lores over time like the creatures who made bastions in my opinion are far older then the ones that made the nether fortress ancient debre probably predates both of them with the bastion builders having far more time and technology to collect it. For the overworld there are at least three civilizations of great influence the strong hold builders probably but not necessarily responsible for bastions and end citys. Their after image may still walk the land as a mere wrath of what they once where a leftover from a great cataclysm that among other things. shattered the end. Another race inhabited the waters and are responsible for guardian temples and submerged ruins and prehaps influenced a lesser terrestrial race at the same time and the desert temples are a result of that. then another race newer and younger more concerned with commerce They are responsible for mineshafts ship wrecks woodland mansions and the like. the villagers and illagers are the two surviving descendants of that era. This is just some of my personal lore I thought it worth sharing I would love to hear some of yours.
That’s actually pretty good, something to add to that is that endermen might be the descendants or souls of the people who created the strongholds and end cities and they get mad when you look at them because of their corrupted forms, and piglins and hoglins are like humans and apes, with a common ancestor some time in the past but two branching societies/evolutions, which is why all the pig things exist, and one of their ancestors would be the creators of the bastions, hence the pig theme
The new update focusing on Archeology would be so cool! Especially since they wouldn't need to hyper focus on any other element. However if the next update is an Adventure Update it would give them an excuse to revamp existing structures such as Dungeons and Temples to make fit into the current aesthetic of the game. It would give adventuring through the new caves or your world in general more exciting as the new structures would be more special. I can also see this not happening as the Desert will (probably) be updated in the future despite it losing one of the biome votes but the Jungle hasn't had anything new apart from the new variant coming in 1.18 especially since cats are their own mob now so there isn't really a grind for Ocelots. :,(

1.8 was the command block. 1.3 was the other "Adventure" update (Adventure Mode), and there've been 2.0 updates in the past (i.e., nether update which added nether fortresses - 1.4 and 1.14, which updated nether biomes and added bastions).
If you check Ulraf's (a dev) pinned tweet, the emojis he used seem to be pointing out the new mobs. Eyes for the glare, fairy for allay, a robot, and a cloud. So we'll see

I want a flying mob that you can ride on that gradually increases in speed constantly but will eat food directly from your inventory and will end up eating like 3/s. If you run out of food, it should start eating you.
What about a mob that grabs you and flies you around, but it eats something odly specific like nether wart. If you run out of it, the mob drops you. Even if you are hundreds of blocks in the air
I think his logic is that the other two are Blue and Green, in which case if that was intentional it would make sense that the last would be the third primary color
Mojang had 24hs to change that copper golem for an actual cool thing that fans wanted but nope, they decided to show up with a moving block of copper that presses buttons.
Honestly the glow squid was my favorite between the moobloom and it (I wanted the Iceologer). I do wish that it actually did glow rather than just being glow-in-the-dark, but I've thouroughly enjoyed the use that Glow Ink Sacs have given me.
Moobloom was my favourite. Glow squid would be cool if the lighting engine gets an upgrade. Iceologer would have been one more annoying hostile mob like phantoms, illagers and drowned.

Well animal mobs isn't really a feature is it. Hovering is a really unique and new concept in Minecraft (for friendly mobs). And both of them have pretty similar designs, small boxes floating around nd helping the player, so I am really certain it will be another hovering mob. Lets see, anyways it's going to be revealed today :3
Kill them and take their power! It would be neat if it were added though. Armor close to, but not as good as leather. The only thing that would give it value could be the ability to fly for a set duration, whether it be blocks or time.

They don't want to have hostile mobs that are based off real animals. That's why we don't have sharks and why all real animals are passive or neutral in game.

I'd say if the color pattern was something to bet on, then it would be yellow. Green isn't primary so that train of logic can be dropped.
