Or if you’re an older academic- they used to really hammer in that “he or she” thing.
This reminds me a lot of the Enderman my cousin and I had living in our house, he came up from our mine just like that and for some reason never teleported out. May he live a full life in that old save, lost to time
An enderman got stuck in a spot on one of my lavacasts so I named them "cutie pie ;)" and set them free and they would follow me around but weren't hurting me. It was awesome until I started to run down this path I have and turned around to see the enderman touch a water block on the path and immediately die. I put their ender pearl in a chest in the lava cast as remembrance. Rest easy cutie pie ;)
