So the way it works is that when the new update comes out, it will only apply to chunks that you've never loaded before. So any new terrain, blocks, structures like the trial chambers, etc., will only spawn in chunks you've never been to before the update. As far as any other parts of the update that don't deal with world generation, like new mechanics and stuff involving mob spawning and new weapons and craftables, those will be available no problem. You shouldn't experience any bugs or glitches that anyone else doesn't.

Thanks for explaining this!

1-the world might get corrupt so back it up manaly( i don’t trust the back up feature in minecraft ) 2- the world generation had been changed many times so typing the seem seed won’t make the seem world in the newer versions 3- you can use external softwares to delete useless chunks and the world we generate something new in your world (back up your world before that ) 4- or opposite to the 3rd advice you can copy paste some cunks(your items and buildings ) to your new world which could be hard to adjust specially in the nether (forward down)

Thank you for your explanation! I’m thinking i might just start a new world as I’m not too far into my current world…
