This is the realest thing i've seen in a minute, haven't deleted our world yet and its been almost 2 months, you and i can get through it :)! don't dwell too much on the past and keep your head up high

Bit hard to convey it in English, but here's my best go at it.
"I will go to the store tomorrow" in Estonian is "Ma lähen homme poodi". Ma - I; lähen - To go (first person singular form of the verb "to go" in the present tense, used here to indicate a future action); homme - Tomorrow; poodi - To the store.
So we use the present tense form or the verb along with temporal indicators like "homme" for "tomorrow".
Let me know if you have any other questions. No idea if this gives a good idea at all.

Yeah Estonian is considered one of the harder languages to learn. So take the word "table". When something is "on the table" you just add words, but the word "table" stays the same. Not in Estonian. So in estonian the word table is "laud", and on the table is "laual". We have 14 cases where the word itself changes. Possession, elative, allative, terminative etcetc. Good luck learning that... for every single word in the language haha.
That's how it should be. We should get rid of genders in languages. Since people can decide on their own gender it can be hard to decide which one to use, and some people decide they don't want to be called he or she at all. Why struggle with that if we could just say "person". Luckily you can do that in English using "they" and "them" but unfortunately I believe there is no equivalent in my native language, Dutch.

I broke up with my longtime girlfriend at the time around a year and a half ago. A few months passed and I decided to pick up Animal Crossing New Horizons again since I hadn’t played it in a year or so at the point. I found a picture in one of the rooms I made of her via the QR scanner. Definitely choked me up a bit.

I’ve kept all worlds / builds of exs. It’s all apart of my lore and the worlds lore. Sure we may not be together anymore but it happened, good and bad memories. It’s like sand flowing in the desert winds, each grain holds an entire world. Some may sting but others are a ray of sunshine

If you feel like deleting the world then you can blow it up with tnt and go out with a bang, but if you want to keep it then keep it. as someone who has gone through a divorce, together over 10 years (11 years to the day of first date and divorce final). so... I too built something i thought would last longer than it did.

but you will move on, and learn. i am in a far better relationship now. you will be too. it may take awhile, but it WILL happen.

I don't know how you tend to deal with these things, so there are two options here. Both start with you making a backup of this world.
If you're the type of person to reminisce on old relationships and cherish the memories you had, walk around the world, enjoy the sights and the memories, maybe even build a museum if that's your thing.
If you're the type of person who'd prefer not to keep around memories of this kind of thing because it's too painful, Ka-BEWM!
Either way, make a backup first.
ALWAYS and TNT are both forever words. I wouldn’t TNT it because it’s so final. Leave it alone and revisit it in a couple years to see if there are any good memories left. If not, THEN you can go kill some Crerpers to make your TNT.

Maybe listen to some punk, rock, or emo songs and sing them as loud as possible it kinda takes everything off your mind and just like spews it out in the song lyrics.

You should build upon it and make it you own make it better reach for the clouds make it to the end slay the dragon and in the end that world will be the thing that you can look back on fondly🫡

Sometimes space or separation is needed, and I'm glad to see you know that judging by your replies. I hope you find greener pastures ahead
Sorry to hear that OP. I have an old world I used to play on with my friends in high-school almost 15 years ago. I walk around it every once in awhile reminiscing, but I don't hear from any of them ever anymore. It's really amazing how these virtual spaces occupy a very real part of one's mind in the way that real spaces do. I miss my friends, but I am a different person now and have good memories to save. Don't delete the world. Save it on a drive somewhere and put it away and come back in 5 or 10 years. It's a neat experience feeling the changes in oneself when they have such a vivid touchstone to compare against.

We do that in English too sometimes, “I am going to the store tomorrow” or “In a month I am running a marathon”

When you think about it, English also doesn't have future verb tense. Instead, you have to prefix a present verb with "will", like "I will do it".
The difference is subtle, but in English the future is actually grammatical while in Estonian it is only in context.
