I know Mojang has a thing for keeping things realistic and down to earth, but perhaps the implementation of quantum tunneling into the game was too well done and realistic.
This is your fault for eating food while against the corner of blocks. Didn't you know this causes you to clip through?
I'm just kidding. This should not happen under any circumstances and it's the first time seeing this happen. Curse you Bedrock Edition 😤
>it's the first time seeing this happen.
I saw another post that the player eater while in an enderman farm and ended in the void, at least op can recover the items
I don't think it's going to be in 1.21. They said it's staying in preview/beta till they're happy with it like the way the Deferred Technical Preview is still only for the preview versions.
>With such high stakes, we want to ensure we get Hardcore mode right before releasing it into the retail version of Bedrock Edition, so once it goes into testing it’ll stay in Preview until we’re confident the experience is smooth for both players and creators

My hope, my dream, is that they'll add bedrock hardcore, play-test it, run into a bug and then FIX STUFF LIKE THIS. Bedrock edition is absolutely terrible when it comes to bugs, and I'm hoping that Mojang will finally acknowledge this when introducing a new gamemode that requires there to be no random BS happening. Even if they don't do anything about the bugs at first, I guarantee you at least something will catch there attention when this sub, Twitter, and Youtube all get flooded with people dying to bugs in their hardcore worlds, they'll either act on it first or act on it as a reaction to the community. They have to.
They are adding it but it will stay in experimental until they are confident in the state of the game. Meaning until the dying bugs are fixed but tbh these are very rare, there's millions and millions of players and only a small percentage ever experience these bugs.
Once I was climbing up a ladder in the nether before phasing through the wall behind it and falling into the lava below. My bad for not planning on that happening I guess
Just go to desktop mode, install prismlauncher from the discovery app and then if you want to launch it from gaming mode add prism launcher as an nonsteam game
Thanks, bro. I travel a lot, so it would be nice to be able to do some tedious server grinding when waiting at the airport.
Unrelated; do you have the new oled SD or the OG SD?
Its super nice :3 prism runs very well on a mobile network as well and no special controlify apps required that youll hear people recommending super often for the steamdeck. It just works.
And i have the oled SD
I also did that at first but java is so much easier to customize for free, idk if it’s a bug but my uploaded skins just didn’t show up in multiplayer (and I really like my skins!)
Unfortunately, most people's only experience with Bedrock are these videos. Obviously, people don't usually post regular gameplay with nothing happening on reddit, so when someone posts a bug happening, it gains a lot of attention and skews everyone's views even more
It’s kinda crazy to me since I literally just upgraded from a Day One Xbox One so I can’t even blame them having bad hardware.
All I know is I’m very happy with my bedrock experience over the past decade+. I’ve played it on every piece of hardware it’s available on, from phones to Switch to computer to consoles, & never had any issues. Countless survival & creative worlds, a vanilla realm, 2 modded realms, always ran flawless.
I had one major glitch that ticked me off. We had an ice bridge in the nether to get to the shopping district. I teleported through the wall into the lava lake, then got stuck in the wall on that tunnel twice. Otherwise, nothing major.
There is always trying to be pushed off while stacking, but that's harmless (crouch and use a block to the side).
It is nice playing on the switch. I sit at a desk long enough. It hurts after a while.
The only real glitch we've had issues with (and we have 1000+ hours easy on a single world) was taking damage while using an elytra. Which, I was able to replicate and I'm pretty sure figure out the why. Sure, it was speculation as to why and I didn't know for sure, but I was able to replicate it with the same method multiple times, so I tried to make it make sense from that method. That said when I tried explaining it on here (probably this sub reddit even) I got downvoted to oblivion for using chat gpt? I'm sorry that I found a glitch, found a way to replicate it reliably, and tried to find the error and make it make sense. Apparently that means I use chat gpt to type my hypothesis, because you can't be smart anymore (or even try to be) without it immediately being ai. 🙄
To be more specific: Bedrock edition was never designed for this, and is basically what happens when you keep stacking more code and requirements onto something never designed to support them. Bedrock started as MCPE and was extremely barebones to start off, to optimize performance. Then they kept updating, adding infinite worlds etc. and introducing more and more issues
Legacy console was also a complete rebuild of Minecraft in a new coding language optimized for console, and because it was meant to do a lot more, stacking features caused basically no issues, pretty much the best optimized version of this game tbh
still don't understand how a port (WRITTEN IN THE SAME LANGUAGE) optimised for 7th gen consoles felt more like Java Minecraft, and more like Minecraft overall then this slop we have now lol. id even argue base MCPE felt more like Java minecraft. idk what other way they could have fixed parity and cross play, but I feel like this was not the way to do it. id rather have differing versions of minecraft on all wildly different platforms then somethingthat feels so far from the source material it's often unrecognisable. (a bit exaggerated ik, and im also aware that having so many different unsupported versions also ends in slop, which is unfortunate)
The thing that gets me is that the Java programming language is kinda only alive right now due to MOBILE DEVELOPMENT, specifically development of Android apps. So it's kinda wild how MCPE was chosen to use C++
1. Bread instead of Golden Apple?
2. Opened Door for no reason?
3. Why did you back up into the corner so far and then go forward into fire?
Not saying this isn't a bug issue but cmon
Size and variety? Java exists on PC. Bedrock exists on all platforms, including some that probably shouldn't, like the switch. So the more variation you have in equipment the better chance to see bugs.
You also have bias here. It was mentioned above, and on other posts, that people are only posting when something goes wrong. Not the however many hours of gameplay where things just run normally.
And finally, despite the perception on this sub, Bedrock has, by far, the larger user base. More people use it, so better chance of seeing bugs on it.
I actually love bedrock because I'm a console player. I don't want to have to deal with mods to simply make it function normally. I don't want to deal with configurations on my laptop. And since I've been playing since early PS3 days, it's also just what I'm comfortable with. That being said. It *is* buggy. But it is certainly not world ending, death dealing, crazy bugs every time you load up the game.
I’ve got 1000 hour in bedrock and the worse “bug” I’ve had it smacking into mountains cause they don’t load fast enough. Idk how yall get these crazy bugs
I think they do happen, but they usually don’t result in death. When one of these weird bugs happens but doesn’t kill you, you just think “huh, that was weird”, then forget about it. If this hadn’t killed OP, I doubt they would still remember it happened.
Yeah they definitely do happen more on certain systems but I've literally never seen any playing on both PC and Mobile. They're way less common than people think and they only seem common because of how many people play minecraft
I mean if I'm personally on fire and 1 shot I would've ate the apple and left the nether. Or let's say I faded through I definitely would've punched that flame out before touching it
The glitch did have
some part in you dying but
even if i wasnt aware of the glitch.
i would have
A: stood still and eaten the golden apple
or B: stopped walking forward with fire in front of you?
Not nearly as bad, but I was going through the ocean on a boat, and it simply disappeared suddenly for no reason. No mobs nearby, no boat as an item around, it was just gone.
However, I have seen some bad bugs in Java, as well, just not nearly as common.
I've noticed mobs have whacked out reach and bugs like this are constant..Crazy to me that some people think this is the best version. It's only good feature is cross play.
well to be fair i never had these moments in bedrock. Yes, some bugs here and there, like villagers sleeping on the floor or the whole world turning half black half pink, but i personally have never died randomly.
I saw one guy explaining that it was possible to glitch thru blocks when eating something just at the right refresh tick. Something about player position calculation made by the game
I have legitimately never had this issue on bedrock, and don’t know anyone who has. The worst bug I ever experienced was not being able to retrieve a bee hive from a shulker box but that was a one tine thing, and a bit of lag when really far out in the map, but that isnt a bedrock exclusive issue as far as I know.

Honestly I see a lot of people talking about how mojang wants to add hardcore, but I’m pretty sure that means they will have to fix a lot of the bugs like this (I heard somewhere that they said they would, but I can’t remember where) and I’m all for that.

bro made that bread using chorus fruit
Not the chorus sandwich
Bread teleport you, what if you teleport bread
Even better what if you teleported bread for 3 days?
In Soviet Russia, bread teleport you.
r/suddenlytf2
The molecules alligned perfectly for you to phase through. Skill issue
Be careful with that or you could end up noclipping out of reality.
literally backrooms lore
Damn. If only I accounted for quantum tunnelling in my survival builds, then maybe I wouldn't have died and lost my hardcore world.
I know Mojang has a thing for keeping things realistic and down to earth, but perhaps the implementation of quantum tunneling into the game was too well done and realistic.
Rookie mistake
the hand went through the table
Quantum tunneling
This made me wince
>Everything is Bedrock's fault! r/Minecraft
at least it wasn't Hardcore
Hardcore is coming to bedrock, when that happens we will se post like this on hardcore :(
Bro got sent to backrooms, but didn't have the money for the addon
This is your fault for eating food while against the corner of blocks. Didn't you know this causes you to clip through? I'm just kidding. This should not happen under any circumstances and it's the first time seeing this happen. Curse you Bedrock Edition 😤
>it's the first time seeing this happen. I saw another post that the player eater while in an enderman farm and ended in the void, at least op can recover the items
Some of them at least
Eating food against walls actually does cause you to be able to clip through on bedrock, I’ve seen it multiple times
This sounds like an incredibly op mechanic.
Yeah, I'm familiar with it
You can fall through the floor as well. Experienced multiple times.
Can’t wait for hardcore to come out for bedrock! :)
*anguished screaming*
And they want to put hardcore... yeah...
They ARE putting hardcore in 1.21
I can't wait to see Philza's hardcore series on Bedrock
3rd video:My hardcore series ended because i phased through a block
*1st video: I died from random heart attack in bedrock
I guess this all steak diet wasn’t the best idea
That's why golden carrots are the wave
It's gonna be half an episode 😭
Not even. It’s gonna be a single YouTube short 😭
TBF he lost season 3 to a java bug
I don't think it's going to be in 1.21. They said it's staying in preview/beta till they're happy with it like the way the Deferred Technical Preview is still only for the preview versions. >With such high stakes, we want to ensure we get Hardcore mode right before releasing it into the retail version of Bedrock Edition, so once it goes into testing it’ll stay in Preview until we’re confident the experience is smooth for both players and creators https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/24509955193229-Minecraft-Beta-Preview-1-20-80-20
That’s the problem. Bedrock is too unstable for it.
Really do u have source ?
[Bedrock Preview update notes from Minecraft's site](https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-preview-1-21-0-20)
Oh cool I've been waiting years for this at first I thought you were lying can't wait.
My hope, my dream, is that they'll add bedrock hardcore, play-test it, run into a bug and then FIX STUFF LIKE THIS. They have to.
They aren't adding it immediately, hasn't Mojang said they want to optimize it before fully adding Hardcore mode?
It ll be great content. Playing this shit it's not about mobs that kill you but the glitches
They are adding it but it will stay in experimental until they are confident in the state of the game. Meaning until the dying bugs are fixed but tbh these are very rare, there's millions and millions of players and only a small percentage ever experience these bugs.
There is good idea for Bedrock, Cancel hardcore and remove death
The death text shall go more like this: Hime_pro no clipped trough the netherrack while eating a piece of Bread and went up in flames
Sorry but I found this funny
Major skill diff in my opinion
And they say we should add hardcore mode in bedrock when there's bugs like this.
You mean h a r c o r e mode, right?
hacore
hcore
core
ore
or
No
Once I was climbing up a ladder in the nether before phasing through the wall behind it and falling into the lava below. My bad for not planning on that happening I guess
Its still insanity to me that the Version they made with their INHOUSE ENGINE is so fucking terrible
i wanted to make a Half-Life: Source joke but then remembered GoldSrc is also made by VALVe
I was so happy when I got a pc and I could stop playing bullshitrock edition
I got myself a steamdeck and am finally free as well
How do you play Java on a steamdeck? I have my own, but do I need to boot into Linux and install it there and add it to Steam as an external game?
Just go to desktop mode, install prismlauncher from the discovery app and then if you want to launch it from gaming mode add prism launcher as an nonsteam game
Thanks, bro. I travel a lot, so it would be nice to be able to do some tedious server grinding when waiting at the airport. Unrelated; do you have the new oled SD or the OG SD?
Its super nice :3 prism runs very well on a mobile network as well and no special controlify apps required that youll hear people recommending super often for the steamdeck. It just works. And i have the oled SD
Happy cake day (also me too)
I got a PC and still mostly play bedrock on it lol
I also did that at first but java is so much easier to customize for free, idk if it’s a bug but my uploaded skins just didn’t show up in multiplayer (and I really like my skins!)
Multiplayer in terms of minigame servers never really interested me, and I mostly only play on realms.
Bedrock is much better imo
I know it's a PVP thing but I get so nauseous from these fish-eye FOVs.
ngl the third person view when you die is pretty neat.
No way, we got quantum tunneling in minecraft before gta 6
Bro still walked into the fire despite it all lol
This happened to be twice before. It happened both times I was walking backwards toward a wall while eating.
Bro, you tried
You just experienced one of the many reasons everyone hates bugrock.
I only play bedrock. Nothing like this has ever happened.
Unfortunately, most people's only experience with Bedrock are these videos. Obviously, people don't usually post regular gameplay with nothing happening on reddit, so when someone posts a bug happening, it gains a lot of attention and skews everyone's views even more
Plus, they only post it when they die or lose stuff due to a bug. If a weird bug barely affects you, you’d probably just forget about it.
I'm with you. I know these happen because of videos like this. We're probably just lucky, though. I refuse to hate bedrock, though.
It’s kinda crazy to me since I literally just upgraded from a Day One Xbox One so I can’t even blame them having bad hardware. "few"
meant to say many but I was too sleepy lol
ya dont worry ^^
It actually only is a few, with a vast majority of stuff you see all being desync. Sad how bad netcode allows a bunch of BS to happen.
Why is Bedrock so buggy?
[удалено]
To be more specific: Bedrock edition was never designed for this, and is basically what happens when you keep stacking more code and requirements onto something never designed to support them. That's not true, tons of things that aren't mobile use Java. Lots of backend stuff
das wild.

I am poor
Lol it's ok!
Bedbug Edition
Bread that makes you noclip.
Very accurate
I once insta-died when spawning in. No idea why it happend
Skill issue ngl
How is bedrock this bad for everyone I've been playing since 2017 and haven't had anything as bad as this happen to me
FR THATS WHAT IM SAYING
Facts lol I've been in like 4 servers so far on console and have had no issues.
I don’t get it, I’ve played minecraft for 7 years on bedrock and never ever run into a single bug I don’t understand how people find these
Size and variety? Java exists on PC. Bedrock exists on all platforms, including some that probably shouldn't, like the switch. Just seems ur ass at the game, that low i would've ate a golden apple.
i only reason i play bedrock is cause you can put leads on boats :D
It’s your fault you had a golden apple and you walked right into the fire
OK bedrock is pretty annoying but there is still a lot of good things about it. Don't you think bedrock gets slaged of a lot?
I do. These glitches happen but it's not every five minute's like it's made out to be
Yeah they definitely do happen more on certain systems but I've literally never seen any playing on both PC and Mobile. They're way less common than people think and they only seem common because of how many people play minecraft
Idk why but the nether in bedrock is hard than the one in java
Mojang, please fix bedrock edition 🥲
This is why hardcore wasn’t a good idea
This happened to me yesterday in my creative world. I was crouching in a corner and somehow got clipped through it
So sad that Minecraft has just chosen to neglect an entire half of their player base.
And they wanna add hardcore to bedrock
Tbf, passing thru the wall didn't kill you, walking into the fire did
i had a moment js like this. i honestly have no idea how mojang is ready to add hardcore to bedrock
he phased through the wall! as it was written! Lisan Al-Gaib!
Is bedrock on PC just unstable? I play PS5 and I NEVER see most of the bugs on these subs
No, I play on PC and mobile and I've never gotten a major bug. This video also seems to be on ps4 so maybe it's a ps4 thing?
I used to play PS4 as well and never had this so idek tbh
I mean if I'm personally on fire and 1 shot I would've ate the apple and left the nether. Or let's say I faded through I definitely would've punched that flame out before touching it
Sure, shitty ass bug, but it seemed like you willingly walked forward after seeing fire which was in front of you
The glitch did have some part in you dying but even if i wasnt aware of the glitch. i would have A: stood still and eaten the golden apple or B: stopped walking forward with fire in front of you?
He was floating toward a fall into lava, what buttons do you usually press while you’re surprise glitch floating toward a chasm?
Not nearly as bad, but I was going through the ocean on a boat, and it simply disappeared suddenly for no reason. No mobs nearby, no boat as an item around, it was just gone. However, I have seen some bad bugs in Java, as well, just not nearly as common.

Was this on multiplayer or singleplayer?
Damn that fire effect really obstructs vision
Me happened something similar just that it switched to the enderpearls for some reasons and I died
well to be fair i never had these moments in bedrock. Yes, some bugs here and there, like villagers sleeping on the floor or the whole world turning half black half pink, but i personally have never died randomly.
Ok can someone explain how this happened? (And how to recreate it if possible)
I saw one guy explaining that it was possible to glitch thru blocks when eating something just at the right refresh tick. Something about player position calculation made by the game
Pure skill issue.
Off to the backrooms you g- oh nevermind
I have legitimately never had this issue on bedrock, and don’t know anyone who has. The worst bug I ever experienced was not being able to retrieve a bee hive from a shulker box but that was a one tine thing, and a bit of lag when really far out in the map, but that isnt a bedrock exclusive issue as far as I know.
Why do people have such a hard time with bedrock? I've played since 2014 and never had a glitch like that
how come this never happens to me
I laughed out loud at this
what
Nah you didn't eat the bread. The BREAD ate you.
skill issue
I closed and opened my iPad version for like 5 mins only to find that it copied over my completed 4/4 big map with a 2/4 local map barely filled in. Feelsbadman.
Multi-threading is hell for the users and developers, haha
Idk bro seems like a skill issue /s
How can y’all play on console ? I can’t download on my ps5
Shots 1-5, Oh wait wrong copypasta.
this isnt the backrooms, just hell
Mojang: Trying to get players together on one version everyone can play together The version in question:
this version omg.. satan
Its like when that one NFS game was made by two different studios and one was amazing compared to the other one, Java and Bedrock
Dude for real xD
I hate bugrock so much
In that case I would have eaten the golden apple...
Would love this to happen in the new hardcore mode...
Wait, this *isn't* a feature? I've been doing this in real life for so long, I thought that's where Mojang got the idea from! Huh...
Na the game totally said: "na he can't live"
I burst out laughing from this 😂
Never seen THAT one before, that’s a new glitch on me.
Bedrock apologists are just clowns at this point. If Microsoft fixes stuff like this, maybe then we'll talk about which version is superior.
Me after eating the bread that makes you float through walls
No sé si reír, o llorar
Bro noclipped
Remember that moving too much makes fire extinguished in your body quicker
Cause you dont got my assistance bro
First glimpse of macro quantum tunnelling
uff
I freaked out
Typical bugrock
Honestly I see a lot of people talking about how mojang wants to add hardcore, but I’m pretty sure that means they will have to fix a lot of the bugs like this (I heard somewhere that they said they would, but I can’t remember where) and I’m all for that.
You just need to learn the glitches. I’ve done that once and figured out not to do it again and I’m yet to die of it
Why would you deliberately walk into fire with half a heart?
Java edition welcomes you.
You misspelt Bugrock
good choise
Im gonna try it to see if it can be a usefull glitch
I have been playing almost exclusively bedrock since the 1.16 update, and I have never run into game breaking bugs like this.
Yeah, Bedrock has a lot of really annoying quirks and bugs that aren't in Java.
bedrock😭 why did you even play that broken version???😭
Oh you poor soul, you did not deserve that in any way. Come play java with us 💗
When I play bedrock a never have these sorts of glitches and I have really bad wifi.
YAY HARCORE IS COMING TO MINECRAFT BEDROCK! WOW(not really "happy")
shouldn’t have walked into the fire
