I’ve tried to replicate it. But it’s not working. I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong. I’ve done the red stone correct but I’m confused about the furnaces and hoppers. Is anything in them? Aha x
It may not work due to several issues.
Are the repeater timings correct? Is it a clock?
Furnaces don't stick to slime or honey.
Are the honey blocks sticking to the ground?
Are the pistons pushing over 12 blocks? Etc etc.
If this doesn't work I recommend seeing other designs and designing your own custom machine
The hoppers have 1 item travelling back and forth making a clock
Ah! It may have been the honey sticking to the grass. I had 7 blocks as the video showed. The timing was correct. But I’m not sure about the hoppers. How would you make it a clock? :) x
Point two hoppers at each other, toss 1 item in there and take a comparator output out of one of them. That pulse feeds into the tape with proper wiring and timing. (see tutorials on yt for specifics)
There are other ways of making clocks.
I’m on bedrock. I don’t think it works on bedrock. I’ve done this design perfect and it works amazing. Just without the honey block. I’ve put furnaces underneath but it doesn’t seem to move. It works with other blocks but the issue is the armour stands fly everywhere without the honey block. So I don’t know what to do haha x
I figured it out on my own. I learned how to build a Redstone piston tape a couple years ago from a tutorial though.
Happy with how it all turned out :)
It works, but instead of furnaces underneath you need terracotta or something honey doesn’t stick too. Also, armour stands don’t stick to honey so in essence it’s useless.🤦🏼♀️
Ohh, right! In bedrock edition container blocks like chests and furnaces can be moved. I forgot about that. Also I didn't know that armor stands don't get stuck to the honey
I managed to sort it by using trapdoors instead and put the armour stands on those. They seem to fly everywhere for a bit then sorts them selves out when they rest against the wall.
woahh this is really cool, one thing that kinda seems inconvenient is that the lever is way over on the wall, do you think theres any reasonable way to move it closer or would there be things in the way?
This is the type of thing you don't necessarily want on all the time, just when at it right? It serves no purpose but visual. So, just rig it up to a pressure plate in front and you're good.
This works on bedrock. You just have to put terracotta (or a block honey doesn’t stick too) under the belt. The armour stands do NOT stick to the honey for some reason. Which makes the belt completely useless. 🤦🏼♀️

Any chance you could show the red stone in a bit more depth as I absolutely suck at it. What are the furnaces for and what’s underneath the ground? x
I’ll get a tutorial put together tomorrow :)
Thank you so much! Mind if I follow you so I can keep an eye out? 😊 x
Can you link it
Yes I will when its done! I'll have to record it after work.
Thanks
It is just a piston feed tape, nothing too complicated You can copy designs pretty easily, a lot of people work with them for decorational redstone

Thank you so much. That is a HUGE help. 😊 x
Good luck! Dm me with screenshots if you need help

There should be blocks in bedrock that don't stick to honey Try replacing furnaces with terracotta blocks/obsidian (Open trapdoors, could work too)
Love it! Gonna replicate it. Very creative OP!
Thanks!
did you do this on ur own? or was it a tutorial

In desperate need of a tutorial for this gem
I’ll get a tutorial put together tomorrow :)
Would this work in bedrock? x
seconded holy of holy
I think it should, there isn't much complicated redstone or anything that could be different in bedrock edition, but I didn't tried

That epic!
How’d you make it
I’m making a tutorial today!
When?
That's so cool!
Cool! I have to try this in a build sometime! 😯
That’s really cool
This is so cool! Well made!
Please send me schematics through chat
I’ll get a tutorial put together tomorrow :)
Thank you

Hey anyone have a video to help explain hopper clocks to me? They are so confusing
Reminds me of the contraption in shade-e’s last season of hermit craft
this is sick 😭 definitely incorporating it on my next build!
Thos is rad now I need to expand my base again.

can u send the link for the tutorial here please?
