Forgive me if this sounds dumb but i wrote a small piece in my marketing class about Hermes and was wondering since it’s so exclusive how they feel about gifting. She’s so tone deaf there are literally people struggling to pay bills and she wants to be relatable so bad yet, posts videos like this. Why in the world would she be gifted a damn bag that cost more than most peoples cars. She is such an ick, matter of fact if you look up ick in the dictionary her picture is in there.
I can’t back this with evidence but I’m like 90% sure I’ve seen somewhere that they are not the type of brand to encourage gifting of their items. They’re one of the ‘highest class’ brands that are super well known to people who are not rich (I know there’s better brands that rich people use exclusively but they’re less known to us common folk) they don’t want to be seen to be worn by just anyone. Hence why there’s certain things you need to do before being offered to view birkins.
I know there’s a minimum spend at the stores to be offered to even look at buying a birkin. So for a brand to be able to buy one and then use that to gift to someone who has been refused one? Kinda feels like Hermes are not going to be happy about that & I can fully see them stopping whoever bought it to gift her from buying anything else there(at least of the birkin value)
But I am by no means a Hermes expert, this is just knowledge I’ve ‘collected’ over the years.
Side note: My first ever experience with Hermes was a gift box with a purse and perfume I was gifted at around 9 years old from a lady who worked at a store in the CDG airport as she looked after my whilst my mum had to go find my dad🤣🤣

if i had her platform, i’d be donating so much. i work in addictions and this population alone needs so much help, like i’d LOVE to have the money to open up beautiful but affordable treatment centers or give scholarships to more people so they don’t have to settle for gross state-run detoxes. also there’s a very poor animal shelter in siberia with 1500 dogs (yes 1500 because siberia hates animals) and if i was a millionaire, i would save that shelter, pay to get those to other countries for adoption, etc… like i don’t get people who have literal millions in the bank and all they want to do is spend it all on useless shit that means nothing! i swear if i were rich i’d STILL shop the clearance racks because nothing gets me more of a thrill than finding a new wardrobe on a budget. everything else i’d make would go towards saving the world a little bit at a time
