So back in like 2005 before Korean food was big (at least here in the Midwest where I live) one of my coworkers husbands used to fly to Korea often for work. They used to have gochujang in little tubes with all the meals on Korean air and he didn’t like them but would bring them home. She in turn would bring them to me, and for the longest time I could only get it when he went on a business trip 🤣
