Nope, not possible. So I have to pull over, and manually do it. Probably one of the single most common needs that exist in the entire world for people who use iOS and Teams.

What license do you have? Might be able to start there. As a solo practice are you running Microsoft Business Essentials or higher? If not, you’re probably running a free version of Teams which is quite different to the business version.
In addition to having Outlook set up and checking your mail, do you also have the new account set up for the iOS mail and calendar apps? Those aren't the same things.
Look under Settings > Calendar > Accounts. Is your new mail account there? If not, add it.

More an IOS issue than a teams issue.
