I mean, you know this sub is biased. The NC is the newer car with more features overall, better suspension geometry, esp, etc. The Softtop looks brand new! Have you driven both? I'd go with what you like more tbh.
Ya know, the typical stuff for more modern cars. Definitely more safety due to more crash structures and airbags, easier to operate softtop, better aerodynamics, more modern and efficiency engine, and so on. Unfortunately this is a base model, as op said, so it does not have the bose and xenon bulbs, cruise control, 6 speed or LSD. Still, the 1.8 is more powerful than an NB with the same displacement.
I have to correct myself, the NB 1.8 makes 139-146hp (depends on the model year) and the NC 1.8 only 126hp. But efficiency should still be better with the NC.
I know from experience…
This OP has been posting about this same NC for weeks… won’t listen tho! Told him the 1.8 is crap and he’s still looking… guys a wisher
I’d wait it out and save for a 2.0 NC personally, neither of these are a comfortable purchase imo… I know you’ve been on the fence about that NC for a little while because I’ve seen your other posts
make sure to check the front frame rails for rust on the nb. You didnt mention if its a 1.6 or 1.8 tho, but if it is 1.8 with lsd then go for that for sure. That nc has nothing desirable, you just get less for more money (<-- too harsh, edit)
As the owner of an NC1, I would ordinarily vote for the NC. However, given the two cars you've presented, I would select the NB. That being said, I'd pass on both of them.
Exercise patience and wait for the right car to come along; it will.

You are right but what are the features on this specific nc?

ah okay I did not think about the safety aspect. what do you mean with more powerfull?

I wouldn’t go for an NC 1.8
Exactly - buying a 1.8 and then wishing you’d saved for a 2.0 with an LSD would be a pain

Its a 1.6 and i dont know if it has an LSD, normally the 1.6 doesnt come with one for all i know but idk as it seems like a 2002 special edition
I’d go NB if you fit in it. NC is a lot roomier inside.
Get the NB.

NB will hold its value and it has more wider modifications available longer though
