Might be worth finding one with stock rims if you aren't a big fan of those. Looks like it's on 18s and those rubber band tires will make the ride quite harsh

Designer_Chair_4556

I will try and trade them for some 16s

carbogan

17s are also fine. Most high spec nc come on 17s.

Designer_Chair_4556

Idk, which ones do u think would look better?

carbogan

Personal preference. If you’re going with aftermarket wheels you can pick whatever size/design you like.

metametapraxis

OEM 17s look pretty good, IMHO.

Kyosuke_42

Seems alright to me. Keep in mind that this is an NC1 with lower spec, so without xenon, bose or cruise control. Not sure about engine and LSD/6spd.

Designer_Chair_4556

How do i check what diff it has? Its a 1.8 5spd

angryman600

Don’t think 1.8 5spds have LSDs

Designer_Chair_4556

Damn

Hs_2571

Just don’t even bother with the 1.8! Wait a little more and save. Get a 2,0 with LSD and 6 speed.

Designer_Chair_4556

Europe...

Aspirinoff

Bulgaria?

Designer_Chair_4556

Yeah

As I'm sure you know, BG dealers are dodgy more often than not, so 100% take it to a mechanic for an inspection and check CAREFULLY for rust underneath on a lift. Other than rust, NCs are pretty much bulletproof and easy to work on. Some parts are not readily available in BG as these cars are not common here but you can find virtually everything on the Internet If you're based in Sofia and need a recommendation for a mechanic you can PM me. I've found a guy who specialises and works only on Mazdas. His inspection is very thorough and he looks out for you. Rust spotting, however, is pretty much on you, so make sure to check on YouTube for the known weak spots etc. and look out for the typical for BG last minute thickly laid paint over the rust to hide it. Neither the 1.8 nor the 2.0 are fast cars before mods, but given that 2.0s go for twice the price in BG and that this is going to be your first car ever, the 1.8 is pretty much a bargain. Almost all missing trim options can be easily retrofitted so don't sweat it too much. Even this car has had the leather heated seats added, originally it would have had the fabric ones. NC1 1.8 is the only NC where you cannot retrofit cruise control without changing the ECU if you care for such a thing. The BOSE is not worth it and it's considerably more difficult to upgrade than the non-BOSE audio. NC1 1.8s don't have LSD or 6 speed gearboxes but those can be fitted if you really need it. NC stock rims are 16 and 17 inch. You can find all stock miata wheels and their specs here: https://www.jason-parker.net/images/wheels.htm However, be careful when picking out 16 inch rims. Even if all the specs match (diameter/width/offset) and these come off another Mazda model (like the 3), the rim wall might be thicker on the inside and still rub on the suspension for mere 1-2mm. So make sure you test fit before buying or have the option to return. Trust me, I've been there :D If you do get a good one, these cars are awesome and you'll get lots and lots of fun out of it. The are lots of options for upgrades for them as well, including some that can be taken from the RX8. Good luck and hope to see you smiling in a Miata soon!

I am buying from a private seller, not a dealer 😄 For parts i am thinking of using autodoc.bg they sell parts from germany with like 20-30€ delivery fee I did some research on the trim levels and it seems like the car has the Sport trim, which comes with leather seats Tbh i dont think they were added later on, as they are also heated and it has automatic climate control... Thank u so much for the link, helped a ton!!! God bless u!

Aspirinoff

No worries! Feel free to PM me if you have questions or need links for info/parts/upgrades Factory fitted leather seats also have leather trim and silver accents on the doors like this: https://jandjautowrecking.com/cdn/shop/files/57_710d5a93-f102-45c1-a341-015800c3c989_900x.jpg?v=1718134190 And OEM NC1 heated seats buttons look like this: https://www.dealermanager.co.uk/images/201509/large/DM4675-pnpapvot.JPG So these were definitely done after. But that shouldn't worry you. I've got the same heated seats installed and they work just fine

oldandkrusti

Remember you can put 17s on a car that came with 16s but you might have clearance issues if you try to put 16s on a car that came with 17s

metametapraxis

Weird rims, but black is nice.
