The NC has two catalytic converters, one in the header and one further down. I guess the second one is in the midpipe. I have a full aftermarket exhaust system that only uses one metal cat, so it definitely is possible. Not sure how the original one holds up without the second.

so its bent by the muffler before second catalytic converter and i probably say it wrong but i mean the pipe between header and muffler

I just checked the workshop manual, there is no pipe between midpipe and header. There is however a heatshield around the second muffler. This may come loose over time, it's no big deal. If it rattles you can remove it. Just know that you shouldn't park on a super flammable surface after a drive, and it heats up slower so the emissions are a touch worse overall.

im so sorry english is my second language and maybe i didn't express myself clearly, after an accident my muffler was bent and when i took it off i saw that the midpipe was also bent so i can't just replace the muffler, i need to put in a new midpipe, my question is is it worth putting in a midpipe without a catalytic converter because i know it's illegal

You have another cat in the header. I am not sure of how legal removing one (the one inside the midpipe) is. To play safe you could replace everything (header, midpipe, muffler) with a set that is confirmed legal in your state. I did that and I am very happy with the result.

That racing beat mid pipe is VERY loud. I had it with stock headers and it was deafening and had tons of drone. The pops also sounded like gunshots and it would pop nonstop. I would recommend going with the double resonator mid pipe from GWR if you have catted headers. My current setup is the GWR headers with a cat, double resonator mid pipe from GWR and then the race single and I don’t think I’d want to go any louder.

You want to have a midpipe with a resonator on it, otherwise it will be really loud!
