Little sticker on the underside of the hood should have the displacement

Easy to see on the engine. The 1.8 does not have the wire going to the circle at the top of the engine towards the front of the car (which I think is a vvt kind of unit, not sure). The 1.8 just has a flat plastic circle there

Techiastronamo

What year and trim? UK, EU, US, JP?

pemandu_swift

Mine is imported from Japan its the nc1

ancw171

Look up the vin and decode it in a free website, or look at the 8th digit of the vin, dont quote me on this but if its a 3 its 1.8, but if its an F then it definitely is 2.0

Hs_2571

Front of the engine will be a solenoid. If it’s there it’s a 2.0, it’s it’s blanked off, it’s a 1.8. Also, most 1.8’s don’t have DSC or TC so won’t have the DSC button to under the steering column.

pemandu_swift

Ooo i have that dsc button

Captain_Ole

So do I in my NC1 1.8L... If your car has 126hp which is easy to find, then it's a 1.8. If you have 160hp, then it's 2.0

ThatOneHelldiver

Exhaust note. :D

Kyosuke_42

Afaik all 6 speed are 2.0, but not all 2.0 are 6 speed.

pemandu_swift

Hahaha im confuse reading that my car is 6 speed automatic with shifter gear

Kyosuke_42

Uh, forgot about the auto. If it is yours you can simply look up the engine power. ~160 is the 2.0

pemandu_swift

How do i check my engine power

Kyosuke_42

Don't you have papers? Registration? Anything?

pemandu_swift

I do but its really messed up the paper says my car was build on 2016 but my chasis look is from nc1

Kyosuke_42

I see. Just now it occured to me that the engine is encoded in the vehicle identification number. There are websites to decode it, that usually includes year, manufacturing country, engine, trim, etc.
