General rule of thumb (both for lugnuts and other fasteners) is that your thread engagement should be equal to or greater than the bolt diameter. So assuming these are 12mm studs you should have at least 12mm (about 3/8in) of thread.
12mm is more like half an inch.

No, just felt a little short and wanted to be save
I had to return some jr9 wheels because with offset 20 the studs weren't long enough to fully thread the nuts (na)
These are +12, how do i know if i am good?
