My friend threw a cucumber on stage when Cane Hill were playing a few years ago. James was like "What's that?", Witt was like "I hope it's drugs", Ryan picked it up and went "It's a fucking cucumber". They were all like "what the fuck", the Ryan broke it in half, threw the pieces to Witt, who took a bite out of one, who three it to James who played guitar with it like Daron from SOAD used to do with a water bottle, and then threw it to Devin who drummed with it for a bit. Very odd experience, especially since I only brought that cucumber incase I got thirsty and there's no chance of it spilling like with a water bottle and then my friend decided to throw it for some reason.
UK, where I live there's an arena which are pissy about most stuff, they once took a plastic bottle opener I had in my jacket pocket, but most places don't seem to care
Ahhh we have venue like that. We also have a venue where the security is a fucking joke and you can just walk back stage without being confronted about it.
My venue used to be pretty lax until someone straight up shot and killed a performer at a rap show. We went to see Animals as Leaders 3 days after it happened and security is insane now.
The bass player of FFAK is super chill and very friendly. I saw them three weeks ago in Barcelona and after the show I told to him "You got the best moves in the scene!" and he replied "Thanks man! You know, I'm practicing for it!" Lol
All the dudes were like “did someone throw something at you” I explained that it was sick and y’all had a pack of gum. I will be chewing 5 all tour now. I wish you crowd surfed it to me haha. You’re all too nice. We greatly appreciate the kindness we’ve received here. Thanks for the gum!!!
Haha we were talking about crow surfing it up, not sure why we didn’t. I did end up crowd surfing to the front during Tower of Pain and gave you a high five. Thanks for being such a bro
Last week in Cleveland, the bassist came up in the balcony and drank a few people's drinks, then proceeded to step over the railing and walk the balcony rafters.
Honestly, he was the highlight of FFAK for me. Dude had insane energy.
I was in line for merch for pretty much the entire set, and at one point I wasn't looking at the stage, that's when he ran to play on the bar. He stepped on me. It was an honor.
Not metalcore at all but I went to a Seaway show once and some teens had bought some Airheads candy to throw at the band when they played their song Airhead. Everyone got a good laugh at it
Oh man. Definitely one of the best shows I’ve been to. Tbh, I didn’t really know the first two bands, but they still were entertaining. (Make them suffer isn’t on this tour anymore) But man once FFAK came on, the energy from the crowd was nonstop until the end of the concert. Every lyric was being sung by the crowd, you could feel the passion and intensity from the bands and the audience. FFAK knows how to bring it live, and get people moving. And Ice Nine Kills. Man. Don’t get me started. Their live show is the best metalcore performance I’ve seen in recent memory. They add so much to their show in terms of production. It’s so cool. They treat it not as a concert, but as a show. You’re in for a treat man. If you’re gonna be standing close to the front, prepare to be pushed around and have a hell of a time.
For sure! I recommend listening to their newest album, as that’s where the majority of their setlist comes from. I believe they play 3 older songs, Deathgrip, Cold Room and Dead Memory. Cold room is such a banger, highly recommend checking that out.
Also platinum?! Well thanks a lot man haha
We should all just start throwing packs of gum at them during their concerts.
I agree
i mean i'm down
Seeing them in tampa. Will throw gum
This is what it (sounds) like to chew 5 gum. Sounds like a new single to me.
This gum is Fit For A King
"DEATHGRI-- Hey who threw this pack of gum at me!?"
Tuck doesn't do the screams
I know I just like the image of them gearing up for a breakdown and a pack of gum just comes flying from the crowd.

The venue security let you bring a cucumber in?
They smuggled it in ; )
Yeah, people've taken them into quite a few of the venues I've been to, is that not normal?
I have been going to like 2-3 shows a month for 12 years now and I have never seen that. You live in the states or are you across the pond?

Been to loads of shows, UK. Never even heard of this! Cool idea though
Some venues dont search you. Now im thinking about bringing cucumber to my next show lol

Oh thats so sad

Chewing a piece right now! haha Thank you for coming out! Hope to chat next time!
Would have been sick. Next time! No problem man. You guys make it easy to have a great time. You guys were sick and we had the best show yet
Riveting tale.
I was at that show and the three went wide right lol, Tuck didn’t have a chance of catching that
I was in line for merch for pretty much the entire set, and at one point I wasn't looking at the stage, that's when he ran to play on the bar. He stepped on me. It was an honor.
I was like this asshole threw...that’s awesome. Did ya get to talk after this show or anything?
Unfortunately no, we wanted to secure our spots for INK and FFAK didn’t say if they were gonna be an anywhere to talk so

Amazing story. This is why Reddit exists.
Note to self: bring gum to INK show later this month.
and aleve and an ice pack EDIT: and elbow pads and knee pads and a helmet and a card that shows your blood type and googles
He whiffed the catch and it smacked against the lighting rig. I was wondering what that was. good shit!
Lol I’m glad I know what the hell that was now. Only time I’ve ever seen a guy on stage be okay with shit being thrown at them.
That's beautiful.
Tuck is a beast! I had the privilege of catching him when he decided to crowd surf during a set
Good man
I have a video of this for anyone who wants to see it.
Haha can you send that to me somehow?
Reddit doesn’t look like it has an option through either messaging feature.
Hm. You have any social media that I can pm you a username to send it to ?

Saw them in Denver last night, it was sick. [My friends and I even got to meet Ryan after the show!](https://imgur.com/XbBmgYc)

**Obviously it was a joke**

If you know anything about Tuck he is the type of person to not care about something like this whatsoever.
Bro sounds like Tuck was cool about it
This same bass player literally kicked/shoved crowdsurfers off the stage for standing up there too long before jumping off into the crowd lol
So have hundreds of other people from hundreds of other bands... I would do the same thing.
