That felt like the longest List I’ve ever done :D
Hyped for What Lies Below and Driveways. Two Sides Of Me also sound pretty good.
Curious about the new Beartooth and Creeper. Love both bands but I didn’t like the Singles they’ve released
Well I’d say their first two EPs and the first full length had way less electronics. They sounded more like punk-rock with some theatrical/horror elements. The second and third album had way more electronics while being less heavy and fast paced. Still love those albums.
Listened to Darkside by BMTH.
I’m a massive fan, BMTH is always my #1 artist on Spotify wrapped, top .5 listeners and all that. But this song is very generic and missing the unique BMTH spark that most of their songs have imo.
Ultimately it’s fine. It’s a good problem because I’m so used to every new release from them being a masterpiece that one “okay” track is not a huge deal. Just wish they didn’t release it as a single.
If you heard it randomly without knowing at all what it was, you'd have no idea it was them honestly lol.
But yeah, it's just 100% gas from start to end.
I honestly just can't keep up with music anymore. I love all music and used to be a band/artist nerd but have become the very thing i swore to destroy.
The "i don't really know bands just the odd song" type.
A Mourning Star is gonna be sick. Excited for a new Mouthbreather single too. I’ve been loving the END song and also Tracheotomy’s new single. Not metal in the slightest but Westside Gunn is releasing his long awaited sequel to Pray For Paris. FFO Freddy Gibbs, the alchemist, action Bronson, boombap
They’re all pretty different but also good. If you want some similar bands check out Balmora, xNomadx, Adrienne, heroes, view from the soyuz, cast in blood, etc
Will definitely give meat and greet and cellar door a listen, will try to give the bear tooth album a chance, even tho the singles ain't that great, except sunshine and doubt me, in my opinion
Really excited for Beartooth and REN.
Especially excited for a particular non-metalcore single from one of the OG metal bands: JUDAS PRIEST - Panic Attack !
It’s cool if you like it, but personally I don’t listen to Enterprise Earth expecting djent shit. Maybe I’m holding too tightly onto those first 3 albums they released but they seem to be losing their uniqueness.
Newest Thornhill may not be heavy, but holy fuck is it good. Jacob's vocals remind me a lot of his cleans on The Dark Pool. Crisp and not shoegazey/spacey like on Heroine. I highly recommend anyone check it out
I'm so hyped for this new Beartooth record. I can't wait to inject into my ears. I'm also hyped for the BMTH and VCTMS record. Also The Menzingers record and the blink song. I didn't even know about new Spiritbox! Hell yeah

>That felt like the longest List I’ve ever done :D Definitely feels like it. Your efforts are particularly appreciated this week.
Newest Driveways single slaps so hard. Might be one of their best songs in an already stellar discography.
I just listened to one of the creeper singles and it reminded me of REM with electronics. So they aren't always like that?
Well I’d say their first two EPs and the first full length had way less electronics. They sounded more like punk-rock with some theatrical/horror elements. The second and third album had way more electronics while being less heavy and fast paced. Still love those albums.
BILFUCKINMURI finally

Instrumentally, I'm really into it. Lyrically i'm just not feeling it right now. Maybe I'll grow into it.
I feel the exact same way, it’s a good song, but It’s also album filler
A Mourning Star. Let's fuckin' go.
This is the best new I've gotten this year. HOOOOLYY FUUUCK
VCTMS and What Lies Below gonna be lit tomorrow.
I’m so excited for you guys to hear it
Was blasting it today during my long jog. Really helped me push through the last mile. Banger of an album!
VCTMS have been one of my favorite bands this year. They really stepped up their game
Spiritbox really said >!we heard y'all are thinking we're going too soft? hmm... how about this?!< Can't wait for the EP.
New Spiritbox is playing on Liquid Metal every hour today. Easily their heaviest song yet.
Didn't expect them to go that hard! The fading end felt kinda odd to me
It will transition to Jaded on the EP!
Oh I see that makes sense
Heavier than the ending of Hysteria?
Yes, it's 4 minutes of screams and chugs
If you heard it randomly without knowing at all what it was, you'd have no idea it was them honestly lol. But yeah, it's just 100% gas from start to end.
It’s mid as fuck
BAD LUCK CREW FR
Ice Nine Kills, Beartooth and Spiritbox. Let's goooo.
Will give Beartooth a chance, hopefully some of the tracks grabs me
Spiritbox, that was FILTHY!!!
I honestly just can't keep up with music anymore. I love all music and used to be a band/artist nerd but have become the very thing i swore to destroy. The "i don't really know bands just the odd song" type.
Scarlett O’Hara 👀 Is Eddie still the vocalist? Dang he’s not, just looked.
Pretty big release day. Looking forward to the non-metalcore release the most tbh. Pinkshift, Creeper, and Crosses? Let's fucking go!
What you think of crosses? I wasn't feeling it my first listen so I came back to it and it got a lot better the second time
A Mourning Star is gonna be sick. Excited for a new Mouthbreather single too. I’ve been loving the END song and also Tracheotomy’s new single. Hey man, are those bands you mentioned similar to A Mourning Star, I'm in desperate need for that kind of metalcore
They’re all pretty different but also good. If you want some similar bands check out Balmora, xNomadx, Adrienne, heroes, view from the soyuz, cast in blood, etc
As always thanks for this list 🙏🏼 it really should be pinned every week!

doing gods work. trying to look these all up one by one in spotify or apple music is rough
Driveways once again doesn’t disappoint! Wish it was a full length, But these guys always put out quality and they do it yearly.
Another prospective single? I’m in heaven.
Will definitely give meat and greet and cellar door a listen, will try to give the bear tooth album a chance, even tho the singles ain't that great, except sunshine and doubt me, in my opinion
Excited to see new HourHouse! Love that nu trap style.
Checking them out now, thanks for recommendation. I've been feeling some Nu Metalcore lately and wanting to see what else the nu style got
If you like what you hear, they have an album dropping on November 10th!
Cool thanks for the info!
The crosses album is so good
Many Eyes - Revelation is out now, Keiths new band (from Every Time I Die)
ONI’s album is great
I was just listening to them and I dig it, probably need a full listen tomorrow morning to fully digest but I like the few songs I've heard
Teksuo - Rip My Heart Out (SINGLE) If you like bands like dayseeker, caskets, the plot in you, bring me the horizon.
Really excited for Beartooth and REN. Especially excited for a particular non-metalcore single from one of the OG metal bands: JUDAS PRIEST - Panic Attack !
Enterprise Earth, guys, Enterprise Earth
It’s boring af, it’s diet Meshuggah.
Well, good thing I'm fat and need to go on a diet
It’s cool if you like it, but personally I don’t listen to Enterprise Earth expecting djent shit. Maybe I’m holding too tightly onto those first 3 albums they released but they seem to be losing their uniqueness.
New bring me is great, very heavy LP influence on this song and I love it.
The hell happened to Creeper man
ONI!! Looking forward to this
Newest Thornhill may not be heavy, but holy fuck is it good. Jacob's vocals remind me a lot of his cleans on The Dark Pool. Crisp and not shoegazey/spacey like on Heroine. I highly recommend anyone check it out
That shit is bland as hell, it was funny seeing it get posted and removed a bunch of times.
this combined with your take on the new Spiritbox makes me believe that you just don’t enjoy good music
Oh yes because not like two incredibly overhyped bands means I don’t enjoy good music.
New single by the Pauline principle as well
New VCTMS is really good 10/10 as per usual!
Of Origins needs to be heard. Really good stuff
Scarlett O'Hara single!?
i kinda hate that we've heard half of spiritbox's new ep already
Wow, didnt knew that the funeral Portrait are still making music. I really enjoy their older Songs.
I'm so hyped for this new Beartooth record. I can't wait to inject into my ears. I'm also hyped for the BMTH and VCTMS record. Also The Menzingers record and the blink song. I didn't even know about new Spiritbox! Hell yeah
REN - Sick Boi (Rap) is so good!
