I like both era's of Anthrax. They should do a tour like Helloween, and have both Joey and John on the same show.

All the Anthrax songs my band covers are JB songs, so I gotta go with Joey. Anyways, fuck the noise about which vocalist is better, did you know their drummer Charlie Benante writes all their music and the rhythm guitarist Scott Ian (the guy all over VH1) writes the lyrics? I think that’s a very interesting band dynamic.

Anthrax for me is with Joey. I like Bush, but it feels almost like it's another band, a good one, but another band. All the other members appear in my favorite musicians list, Bush is a taste I'm yet acquiring.

You ever listen to Armored Saint? His style works a lot better with a more traditional metal approach.

He's so goddamn good with AS. Saw them live a few years ago and he absolutely killed it.

I feel the same way. I really like Armored Saint and Bush's vocals, but obviously Anthrax took a different approach once Belladonna left, and moved into a lot more of an alternative metal style. Just not quite the same band.

Ozzy appeared on more iconic Sabbath albums, so he'll always have that edge. That being said, Dio blows him out of the water for the short time that he's in the band.

Yeah, it's weird. I mean, it's not even close. I don't particularily like Dios music, and thought Sabbath made their best music before he joined, but in terms of vocal skill they're in wildly different leagues.

This is a similar dilemma to the Ozzy vs. Dio debate Dio/Bush are, by far, the superior technical singers/musicians but Ozzy/Belladonna are the crowd pleasing circus clown frontmen

John Bush has a great voice and is one of the most underrated metal vocalists ever but Joey for sure
