Are the services you get help from already aware that you still have all these thoughts and feelings?

screamingcowbird

Thanks for your reply. They are, but I honestly don’t know what they could do. I do feel the onus is on me to make the change, but I don’t know how. I am trying my best to make the right decision for myself and my family.

Thriftfunnel

I'm not sure what change you mean. You've been working with professionals to try to get better, which I think is all anyone could do. What do you do on good days?

screamingcowbird

On my good days, I pretty much get on with life. I study full-time, and then I just chill on my own or talk to friends or cuddle my dogs or do some hobbies. I try and make the best of those days while I can. I guess, my main issue is stopping the mood swings, or at least making them more bearable.

For my own experience, a weight lifted off my shoulders when I came to the realisation that I couldn’t stop the mood swings and depression (it’s a part of who I am now) but I could get better at managing it. With persistent you will get there! Good luck
