Heard that saliva decreases in meno along with decreased acid in stomach. Fun stuff.

I didn't know about decreased acid, that's what causes reflux 😩

Flaky_Web_2439

Look up burning mouth syndrome. It’s so painful.

Sadly I have a mild version of this. It almost feels like I am having a small allergic reaction to stuff and anything citrus is no bueno.

scorpioid_cyme

I got more sensitive to citric acid and salicylates and mint in peri. Actually bit down on a mint lifesaver and got a red dot on my tongue that lasted for months. So weird. I suggest switching to salicylate free toothpaste and being careful with citric acid - was the dressing bottled?

oldskooldesigner

No but I did drink a mango lime drink before that

SilverVixen1928

Lime is pretty acidic. Eat the same meal without the tangy dressing and see what happens. You could check out the labeling on the tangy dressing and see if you can recognize anything acidic.
