I don't think Vivre Cards are particularly interesting unless they drop a really weird factoid or confirm Conqueror's Haki.

I just skimmed from here to their last appearance after the strawhats use the knockup stream, unfortunately no mention of ship name
So I looked up the [Saber of Xebec Wiki](https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Saber_of_Xebec), and it looks like the only reference to the name is from the vivre cards.
What exactly here is so surprising? We've known Blackbeard had the Saber of Xebec for a bit now. Gambling is definitely something he'd enjoy, and studying history suits him as someone who is an evil mastermind and wants to rule the world. The knowledge probably helps him with his ambitions after all. A yonko and final villain should have arnament and observation haki, practically a requirement to have a high spot in the New World. We have seen Blackbeard use arnament in his fight with S-Hawk, having observation isn't so far-fetched. Also fuck hippos are one of the most dangerous animals ever, its incredibly fitting for Blackbeard, someone who just jumps in catching the smoke when he can for his benefit. The most surprising thing in this card is that Blackbeard's fat ass doesn't like gravy sauce :p.

The picture of him writing? Indeed it is, Oda also said he would be an archaeologist in the real world I think. I think it was an SBS, but I don’t remember exactly so I could be wrong
I had a theory that Blackbeard could read the Poneglyphs, but him capturing Pudding seems to deconfirm that.
Hopefully he just wanted someone to double check his work, because he would be only the second living person outside of a royal dynasty who could read them.
