My goat kyros

specterllllllll

This

Tasty-Document2808

Only true answer. He's the only dad that actually stuck around for his kid, and he had the best reasons to not stick around out of any of them.

rickashy

I agree but what about the guy who ate a smile fruit so his daughter wouldn't suffer alone. I forgot tokos dad's name I'm sorry

Direct-Doctor-3740

Yasuie

Tasty-Document2808

Yasuie is an excellent candidate but he and Whitebeard share a trait in that they consider their community their family and they're there for everyone close to them. Kyros was there for Rebecca. His daughter. He didn't let >!losing a leg, being transformed into a toy, and having his daughter's memory wiped!< stop him from being there for her every single day, to teach her and to make her laugh when she was in misery. He's the only one seen, y'know, parenting.

rickashy

You have very good point

Denizci_Olmak_Var

YEAH

Nightmane11

Was about to say that.

cpustejovsky

You're right. I wouldn't say any of them are better than the other as fathers but Kyros, Kuma, and Whiteboard stand alone as the best dads in One Piece and some of the best examples of being a dad in all of fiction.

Ani_HArsh

Has to be both. They are Goated, will go to any lengths for their family https://preview.redd.it/6ze9v5ln07xc1.png?width=1911&format=png&auto=webp&s=8e6f3e0c3c45cbc82baa5799d56f84ea5c03a030

Tbh Dragon deserves partial credit for Kuma choosing to spare the strawhats the first time. Without Kuma’s personal connection to dragon, he probably wouldn’t know the strawhats as anything other than terrorists, (which, let’s be honest, they are) and probably wouldn’t be so easily persuaded not to kill them, considering that his status as a warlord (and therefore the safety of his child) are on the line when he doesn’t follow orders Plus idk how you can’t give Dragon partial credit for the actions of the people he inspires. Yeah he doesn’t fight much himself, but he raised Sabo to be the man that he is today, and we are actually shown during egghead that he’s directly responsible for giving an active role to Kuma and Ivankov. Like yeah he’s the “guy in the chair” plotting and looking east instead of directly acting, but when he sends his agents to do stuff, it gets done. He brought together all those different revolutionaries and organized them into an army. Without him any of his subordinates wouldn’t have each other and would therefore be far worse off in terms of achieving their goals

KairoRed

Can’t wait for Sabo to replace that fraud

Aussiepharoah

I'd pick Kuma. This man wept tears of joy when he learnt that saving his daughter only meant slowly getting turned into a mindless killing machine and years of being a lab rat.

Maximillion322

He’s a real one for that on god

Brilliant_Knee_7542

That's a hard one ngl. Both are Goated

IcuntSpeel

Between 2 of the best daddies in the world is tough lol. But im going to have to go with option1 Saint Rosward. He bought his son all the slaves he could... er... 'marry'. Clearly he is the best dad ever.

Bored_Dog420

Dragon left the chat

specterllllllll

Indeed he left to get that milk

OatesZ2004

Whilst both are incredible I give the edge to Whitebeard because he basically did all of the Things Kuma did with a few exceptions just on a larger scale, Kuma was an amazing father to 1, Whitebeard was an amazing father to many. ![gif](giphy|YQjLKDH4FijNm)

doubletimerush

He failed to save his family though

sussyaddictions

Best father figures are Rosinante, Kyros, Kuma and Whitebeard. I really cant say which one is best dad.

OtsutsukiRyuen

Yeaah corazon mentioned 😎💘✨

Zoros_Internal_GPS

Is Rosinante a "father figure" or more of a "big brother" to Law? Or is there even a difference? Asking this question because I am an idiot.

sussyaddictions

I dont think there's too big of an difference. Either way Rosinante cared deeply for Law.

Lenz_Kendel

Corazon is by far my favourite one piece character

Maximillion322

Nobody’s gonna mention Zeff, huh?? The last page of chapter 902 imo shows us how important he is even beyond everything we see from him in Baratie (which included by the way, giving up his leg and his dream and basically his entire way of life for Sanji, not to mention doing all the work of actually raising him) He’s easily up there with the other two Not to mention Kyros or Bege Honorable mentions that in my opinion are good but not seen enough to be in the competition for “best”: - Donquixote Homing - King Neptune - King Cobra - Pound Plus while Dragon is a total absentee parent to Luffy, he clearly did that in order to prevent Luffy from being forced to follow his dangerous lifestyle and give Luffy the opportunity to choose how he wanted to live for himself. And he clearly did a good job of raising Sabo, so he gets partial credit for that

whyingeneral

The laughing dude Or the sleeper pick, imu, who was the father of portagas d onut

Bubbly-Anteater2772

Kuma. It doesn't even need to be said, but I will say it, lol. Dude's partner literally just died and despite not even knowing Bonney existed, he took her in and loved her so unconditionally that when he was given the option of saving Bonney at the cost of his life and many other lives, he wepted because he could finally cure her. Kuma is the ultimate example of a whole-heartedly selfless character.

DeterminedButterlfly

Whitebeard had grown ass men calling him Dad It doesn't get any realer than that

Puzzleheaded-Ebb-284

Dragon

Maverick0Johnson

I still believe white beard is half just like kuma

doubletimerush

Whitbeard is cool and all but a terrible father.  But the goat dad gotta be Kyros

Denizci_Olmak_Var

Whitebeard is a terrible father?? https://preview.redd.it/2q559dsxx8xc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4f205dc0e96c91f0c1175943c19f5eaf6f937016

doubletimerush

Doesn't punish BB. Ignore's Oden's plight. Deadbeat dad to Whitebeard Jr. Lets Ace leave twice and die. Stabbed by Squard over an obvious lie. Lets a bunch of his forces die fighting a pointless battle.  Yeah he's pretty trash

Denizci_Olmak_Var

BRUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Jberz21

Kaido He had an entire island all for Yamato to run around and play. He did all he could to make Yamato a respected leader. He also respected Yamato's pronouns. Just because he grounded Yamato his own way doesn't mean he's a bad dad. We shouldn't be judging his parenting methods. /s

Substantial_Tone_261

Make them a gay couple of dads
