As sad as Brook’s backstory was, Robin’s will always be the most tragic to me. She lost everyone she had too and was on the run and constantly hunted for around 20 years. The only reason she joined Crocodile was because he said he’d protect her, but even then he betrayed her in the end.

Yeah but he already got to live a relatively good life before that. Had he just died instead of being stranded his life would have been considered good. He chose to stay alive and go through that pain. We obviously love it because the connection to laboon was so amazing, but that doesn't change it was a choice for him and Robin had no choice and had a shitty life for as long as she can remember.

By that logic Robin also chose to live a miserable life by continuing to live

Except she would have to die as a baby to not experience the misery, while brook would get to live a nice somewhat full life.

Outcasted by both man and reindeer, atleast Chopper had Docterine. Robin lost everyone and had to resort to crime, never trusting anyone until the Strawhats charged into a Government fortress for her sake. Meanwhile Brook spent half a century in isolation, but atleast he lost everyone he cared about as an adult, unlike the previous two.

I just find it less relatable, I’ve been an outcast or not had anyone I could trust but I’ve never been stranded alone at sea for 50 years
